As accusations and speculations about our movie MADAME LUNA are circulating right now, we have decided to post the following statements from Momento.

“It is with great dismay that we read Mr. Berhane's version of events, which differs drastically from ours.

Since a lawsuit has been filed we cannot go into the details of our defenses at this time.

It is with sadness we see that the universal message of MADAME LUNA is being unfairly tarnished by this unnecessary litigation.”

Last screening of our celebrating Advent and the art of filmmaking: We give you a true sense of wonder in the documentary All of Our Heartbeats Are Connected Through Exploding Stars (2022) by genius director Jennifer Rainsford. It’s a breathtaking and poetic film shot over nine years, where we dive over a thousand miles into the deepest of oceans and float out into space to reside amongst the stars and our eternal heartbeats.

“With the 2011 Tsunami as a backdrop, ALL OF OUR HEARTBEATS ARE CONNECTED THROUGH EXPLODING STARS is a staggering odyssey told as an essay on grief, and on how humans and nature rebuild after trauma. It moves from the shores of Japan where Sachiko, Yasu and Satoko try to find ways to accept their loss; via rarely seen places thousands of meters below the sea level where new life-forms thrive; to one of the Hawaiian Islands where a group of volunteers gather to clean a beach from Japanese tsunami debris floating in from the Ocean.”

This film has been filling our hearts and minds in collaboration together with our brilliant, dedicated, and generous team and collaborators. Congrats to everyone who has made this journey possible, and we owe our deepest gratitude to the cast Meninet Abraha Teferi, Hilyam Weldemichael, Claudia Potenza, Emanuele Vicorito, Ness Hakin and all the other cast members for their incredible interpretation of the characters and this story. Ho-ho-ho we have arrived to the 3rd of our four ADVENT SUNDAY SPECIAL FILM SCREENINGS!! ❤️❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️ This time we spend the day thinking about Holliday season as a time for giving as much as not forgetting to be kind towards ourselves. Out today, we are very happy to present the documentary Fragility (2016) by the brave director and brilliant artist Ahang Bashi, who in this film shares her unflinching journey to reach acceptance by choosing to confront her painful past.

In the peak of her career documentary filmmaker Ahang Bashi falls down in a deep gorge of panic attacks and depression. With a skin deep precision, beautiful imagery and a black humor she carries the viewer into the swirling world of anxiety, sometimes dark and sometimes hopeful. With the camera as her tool she brings us back in time to the escape from Iran and the little girl who did not understand.

KONTORSLOKAL och kontorsplatser uthyres!

Vi hyr nu ut ett större rum som del av vår kontorslokal på Momento Film. Kontoret ligger på markplan mitt på Södermalm i Stockholm, nära restauranger, grönområden och tunnelbana. Rummet som vi hyr ut är 27 m2 (hela lokalen 168 m2). Utöver detta finns ett gemensamt mötesrum, ett trevligt kök med matplats och tillgång till en lugn och mysig innegård, ett förrådsutrymme och två toaletter. Givetvis ingår internet, kaffe, städning och larm.

Utöver dessa rum finns det ett klipprum samt en ljudstudio. Då vi inte kommer använda dessa full tid kommer det om så önskas finnas möjlighet att hyra dem till rabatterat pris.

Vi vill gärna dela vårt kontor med andra som jobbar inom kultur och ser fram emot samtal över lunchbordet eller en kaffe på innergården. Vi skulle gärna göra det med dig som delar vårt sätt att jobba där en fast arbetsplats med kollegor är lika viktig som att vara i rörelse och inspireras av nya upplevelser. Välkommen till en trevlig och kreativ kontorsmiljö som är harmonisk, rogivande och spontan men samtidigt också professionell och representativ.

Vi kan tänka oss att hyra ut dels kontorsrummen eller separata skrivbordsplatser.

Tillträde: tillgängligt from 1 januari men kan diskuteras
