’Military Arms’ is the debut output by Gothenburg-based sound-smith Irma Krook. Up until now primarily known as bass player & founding member of death pop vanguards , Krook has composed four tracks of ethereal beauty, in the sanctity of her own home.

Limitation is the mother of invention and recording from a flat in Masthugget narrows the possibilities even more. Recording her vocals on her phone & making all instrumentals in GarageBand on an iPad - Krook has succeeded in making a big sound from small means.

Uniquely her own, while still honoring the inspirations. Kate Bush á Hounds Of Love-era, Anna Domino, 90’s era Talk Talk, This Mortal Coil & Julee Cruise. 

Music you’ll need to take out your furniture before listening, for it to even fit in the room it’s occupying.

’Military Arms’ is available physically on a black vinyl 12” & digitally through all streaming.

ENGÜRDETZ ’SILLMJÖLKE’ (HPR02) LP out 4e of November!
First time on vinyl pressing of Engürdetz' 1988 release Sillmjölke, originally accompanied by Lille Roger's 'Rock N Roll 85-86'. 500 copies.

’Sillmjölke’ differed from the duo’s previous outputs. The tracks had moved closer into the formula of a ”standard” song formula & the influences from British industrialists such as Whitehouse had become more apparent, along with sections that made your mind venture to the freer & ambient sides of Swell Maps (even if they didn’t necessarily know who Swell Maps were at the time).

For the first time ever, this last effort from one of Sweden’s originators of True Swedish Industrial will be widely available on vinyl & digitally.

Today the pop-a-delic wonder of Skiftande Enheter have finally been available in full!
Extremely proud of this one - SE was one of the first band’s I saw when I started to visit Gothenburg in 2016. JJ soon after invited me to a New Years celebration at his home after I just went up & looked for somewhere to hang. Didn’t really know each other by this point - he’s just a really lovely guy!
We hope you all enjoy the 4 tracks - and sorry if you didn’t have time to snag one, super sold out!

After months & months of delays & waiting & grey hairs - this masterfully executed second album by will finally be released tomorrow!
I’ve always held the band’s debut ‘Upp Till Kramp’ as one of mypersonal favorites in the Happiest catalogue (a list which officially consists of all HP released, and unofficially never will be released for the public) - a 100% consistent rock n roll album & among the few real of it’s kind.
‘Ingen Framtid’ holds all the elements of the debut, trimmed down to a set of songs which shouldn’t be missed out by anyone, regardless of preference.
It’s also the first & only record to feature my name on the back - my small feature in the era of narcissism!
Anyways - rant! It will be out everywhere tomorrow, LP & Digital! We hope you enjoy!
