The issue of not paying employees salaries for more than ten months is shameful and disgraceful to the state as a whole.

During the swearing-in of the new Minister of Finance, His Excellency the President of the Republic stressed the issue of non-oil revenues and the necessity of providing salaries to employees.

But it is clear that we are going on a path that has no end and no truth.

The issue of non-oil revenues has become like a Goha hat that no one knows the exact truth about.

Former Minister of Finance Dr. Pak Barnaba wrote on his page in response to veteran media figure Adel Fares that the crisis of non-oil revenues in the country is due to the presence of a few influential people who control these revenues.

He stressed that when he was Minister of Finance, he tried in every way to return the non-oil revenues to the Ministry of Finance, but he failed due to the intransigence and refusal of the influential few who control these revenues.
The new Minister of Finance, who has not yet completed two months in his ministry, and during his response to inquiries from members of parliament last Tuesday regarding the need to know the private companies and influential figures who impose their control over these revenues.
The new and enthusiastic Minister denied all these claims, including the statement of the previous Minister regarding the issue of non-oil revenues.
The new Minister confirmed that the money for non-oil revenues goes to the account of the Ministry of Finance, and that any statement to the contrary is incorrect.
The Minister's statement belies even the request of His Excellency the President to open an account for non-oil revenues, and with these statements made by the new Minister, there are two possibilities:
Either non-oil revenues are actually deposited monthly in the account of the Ministry of Finance, and the problem was with the previous Ministers who did not employ these revenues in the correct manner, and tried to fabricate the story of private companies and influential figures to cover up their corruption.
As for the second possibility, the new Minister has fallen into the clutches of private companies and influential figures and was asked to make such statements without knowing their consequences in the coming days.
Between the accusations of the former minister Barnabas and the influential people who control non-oil revenues, and the denial and denial of the new minister of any violations in non-oil revenues, we are all waiting for the first salary of the employees to be paid and the continuation of the salary every month as long as His Excellency the new minister assured us that non-oil revenues are fine and are deposited every month into the account of the Ministry of Finance. The people have no choice but to wait to find out who is making the million, the enthusiastic new minister, or the bitter truth that the former minister said about the existence of companies and influential people who control non-oil revenues. God willing, the water does not lie to the diver.
