New Elephant Path EP ‘Keep Walking’ is out now! 💚

These 4 songs on ‘Keep Walking’ really belong together, flowing seamlessly between two more blues driven songs, and two acoustic guitar lead songs that are more reminiscent of Elephant Path’s early influences such as Wilco and Elliott Smith.

Title track ‘Keep Walking’ is inspired by Elephant Path's Midwest experience. While the EP as a whole is also a celebration of musical camaraderie, echoing the spirit of the musicians Dev / Elephant Path encountered during his time in the midwest, whilst also exploring the differences between his different upbringings, both on the West Coast and when he moved to the Midwest where he spent almost a decade before returning to Salt Lake City, UT, where he finds himself now, and where this EP was recorded.

It's finally out - Head over heels in love with this EP - Cavalo55’s Late Harvest collects all of Cavalo55's singles so far including new song 'acdc' - go put it on and listen to it in full and be sure to come see him at the Hola Nola Festival in Santiago de Compostela in Spain and Lisbon and Porto in Portugal on these dates where he will join this phenomenal lineup.

'Espresso Martini', the penultimate single from Cavalo55's debut EP 'Late Harvest' is out now.

We first fell in love with ‘Espresso Martini’ the first time we heard it over 2 years ago. Back then it was called 'Juzzy Rag' and we have loved every minute of watching it evolve into what it is now. It's a proper joy to have it finally see the light of day. Listen to it at the link below.

Now seems like as great a time as any to say that we recently re-released Dear Lions second EP ‘Lying To My Lies’.

Can’t even begin to tell you how much we have loved this EP and band over the years, so we feel like shouting it from the rooftops that this EP is out on on our label now.

Short bio: Sometimes it takes a happy accident to join two people together in the art of making music, and that’s exactly how vocalist Ricky Lewis and guitarist Adam Rubenstein came together as Dear Lions in 2010. The resulting music offers an honest and emotive sonic backdrop, marked by Lewis’ heartbreaking lyrics. The vocal sweetness of Jeff Buckley, the musical diversity of My Morning Jacket, and the tasteful rough edges of Big Star, all manifested themselves on the band’s debut self-titled EP on which astute listeners may also hear some fretwork similarities to Rubenstein’s other longtime band, Midwestern mainstays Chamberlain.

Dear Lions’ first single, ‘Space Sister’ was championed by AOL Spinner, My Old Kentucky Blog, Alternative Press, Rolling Stone and others.
Later that year (2011) their second EP ‘Lying To My Lies’ followed, with My Old Kentucky Blog saying about it “Smiths-ish…about the travails of love and hard work, with a heart of Pure Americana”.

Cavalo55 returns with the wonderful ‘A White Building’ which arrives off the back of debut single Hi’s&Lo’s, and comes backed with a live version of ‘Dumb’ recorded during his opening slot with Myriam Gendron at Galeria Zé dos Bois in Lisbon.

Mainly self-produced and in large part self-recorded at his home studio with additional production coming from Hugo Valverde and TIAGO SAGA (TIME FOR T), and Catarina Falcão (MONDAY), and Tiago Saga adding backing vocals, it’s the kind of gorgeous song you come to expect from Cavalo55. A track that will serve as a gateway to his ‘Late Harvest’ EP out this summer 🤍
