JOHN-E (LX MUSIC)

John-e was born in 1977 in Lisbon, but was in Macau and Hong Kong where he found his interest in Parties and Electronic Dance Culture. He grew up with the British movement in the early 90s, had the pleasure to follow DJs like Lee Burridge in his early stages, destroying clubs like the “Big Apple” and the famous “Fire” parties.

John-e was 16 when he scored his first “gig” in Coloane (Macau) and had residencies in clubs like UFO (Macau), I SPY (Hong Kong), SANTA FE (Thailand) Full Moon Party in Had Rin @ Paradise Bungalow (Thailand).

Always believing in his passion for the culture and the music, he decides to leave Asia in 1997 Looking for new challenges and knowledge, Between 1998 to 2001 settled in London where he played regularly at clubs like “414” and “George IV” and acted in some Techno festivals. London was definitely a hot spot back in the day, where he had the chance to explore several musical genres: from “Break Beat”, “Acid Techno”, “Progressive”, ” Minimal ”, “Deep House”, ”Disco” or ”Funk”, the thirst for knowledge led him to play a wide variety of music styles.

Always devoted to search the best in every music genre, from intricate and deep voyages to tuff raw american house to acid or minimal techno, as a raver himself, music production was never a must, only having a few releases in labels like: Kismet Recordings, Vapour, Aroma Music, Global Scum, New Breed and Benthic.

Nowadays he keeps good relations in Berlin London and Switzerland and played in clubs like Fabric, The Egg, Cargo, Plastic People, Fire, Ritter Butzke, Golden Gate, Miks and others.

Pedro Monteiro, também conhecido como Xizesse, iniciou a sua paixão pela musica electrónica aos 16 anos de idade. Começando por ouvir e tocar house em pequenas festas de amigos e alguns bares da sua zona, com o passar do tempo, o seu gosto musical evoluiu e essa evoluição trouxe-lhe outras oportunidades. Depois de uma residência no Pessidónio, na Figueira da Foz e de inúmeros gigs em diversas casas de norte a sul do país e algumas em Madrid, em 2010 começou a produzir os seus temas, em 2011 viu a sua 1ª faixa original a ser lançada na Passion Recordings e, uns meses depois, a segunda foi editada na mítica Italo Business (também italiana). Em finais de 2012 foi convidado pela Elements para integrar este colectivo dedicado à divulgação e promoção de música electrónica, sediado em Coimbra, no qual continua convicatmente a militar. Como DJ e produtor é no house e no deep house que se sente como peixe na água, mas tem pelo techno uma paixão antiga à qual não consegue ficar indiferente.
