Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain and national park located between the Skardu District and Astore District in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Deosai National Park is located in Western Himalayas in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It has an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above sea level, making the Deosai Plains the second highest plateau in the world after Changtang Tibetan Plateau.The park protects an area of 843 square kilometres (325 sq mi). It is well known for its rich flora and fauna of the Karakoram-West Tibetan Plateau alpine steppe eco-region. In spring, it is covered by sweeps of wildflowers and a wide variety of butterflies.

شگر قلعہ پاکستان کا ایک پرانا قلعہ ہے جو شگر شہر میں واقع ہے۔ یہ قلعہ شگر کے راجہ اماچہ خاندان کے زمانے میں 17ویں صدی میں بنایا گیا تھا۔

یہ قلعہ پاکستان کے آغا خان کلچرل سروسز پاکستان کی زیرِ اہتمام بحال کیا گیا تھا جو آغا خان ہسٹورک سٹیز پروگرام کا حصہ ہے۔ بننے کے بعد، قلعہ کو میوزیم اور شاندار ہوٹل میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا جو سرینا ہوٹلز کے زیرِ اہتمام ہے۔ بحالی کی پروسیس 1999 سے 2004 تک چلی اور تقریباً 1.4 ملین ڈالر کا خرچہ آیا۔
