An alternate history of Pakistan - the land and its people - through storytelling! We believe that a linear, Muslim-only; male-heavy; and, Indo-Turkic, Delhi-centered approach to Pakistan's historical narrative is disservice to all: To history, historiography, truth, fact, Pakistan, Pakistani people as well as non-Pakistani onlookers. Therefore, the historical narrative we want to build is inclusi
ve, holistic and rooted in the land that is today Pakistan. We want to tell stories of:
1. Non-Muslim;
2. Women;
3. Other genders;
4. Non-Indo-Turkic and ethnically diverse;
5. Regionally-rooted; and,
6. Local historical and folk;
Historical characters who contributed to the formation of not only Pakistan but also the modern Pakistani culture and identity. We want to do this by fictionalizing historical accounts of such characters so that they are accessible, relatable and easy to understand. Ours is a supremely patriotic endeavor to reclaim our history and help rediscover persons who have shaped our present with their hard work, dedication, commitment, sacrifices and more.
