Dawn Young World This is the official page of Young World, Daily Dawn's children's magazine Poets’ Corner is open to everyone who is 14 years old or younger.

Young World is Daily Dawn’s weekly children’s magazine that comes on Saturday for school children, as well as children of all ages. It started as a single page in the daily newspaper in the late 1970s and slowly evolved into the magazine as you know it today. Young World contains contributions from skilled writers and enthusiastic readers who share a common passion for the written word. This magaz

ine also provides a platform for young talents to display their artistic, poetic and writing skills. The Art Corner contains artwork by children who are 12 years or younger, and the popularity of this section is reflected in the fact that each day we receive more drawings than we can print in a month! Thus, there is a long waiting list but this must not dishearten our future artists because we value all your efforts. However, please note that the drawings that are traced are rejected because our selection criterion is not a pretty picture but a creative and independent effort, no matter how crocked the lines may be! Again we accept original efforts, not plagiarised ones! There is no age bar on writers of articles but originality is a factor that remains the prime requirement for all sections of the magazine. Please note details for sending contributions:
Your contributions should mention your full name, age, class, school, address and telephone number/email address. If you are under 18, you need to give

To email your drawings to us, send them to [email protected] with your full name, age and address. If you send your drawings by post, please write your details on the back side of the drawing. Please note that we don’t accept drawings that have been traced and made by children over 12 years of age.
