After the doctors at the Adiala Jail Hospital declared Zahir Jaffer - the key accused in the Noor Mukadam murder case - as mentally stable, Zahir arrived at the court on foot today for yet another court proceeding where the defence will cross-examine the investigation officer involved.

In the previous hearings, Zahir was brought in on a stretcher and a wheelchair respectively.

Boeing CH-47 Chinook spotted at US Embassy Kabul for evacuation of embassy staff as all provinces of Afghanistan are now under Afghan Taliban (IEA) control except Kabul. Afghan Taliban have started entering Kabul city from all sides. The only exit remaining is via Kabul Airport.

Afghan Taliban have announced a fresh ceasefire, they won't enter Kabul city until both sides sit & negotiate. IEA wants Kabul Regime to surrender peacefully & handover the Government to Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan. Afghan Taliban's Deputy Chief Mullah Beradar is in Kabul for the purpose of peaceful transition.

Afghan Taliban (IEA) have announced NOT to fight inside Kabul as they don't want any bloodshed, instead they have asked Ghani to RESIGN & SURRENDER, plus handover the Government of IEA in a peaceful transition of power.

Now Peaceful transition of power in Afghanistan has been agreed. Ali Ahmad Jalali will be the head of the new interim government. Ghani has resigned

Terming the India’s malicious attitude “Ludicrous”, the former South African Opening Batsman Herschelle Gibbs has lambasted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for bringing politics into cricket and hurling threats against him as a pressure tactic to bar him from participating in the Kashmir Premier League (KPL).

The inaugural edition of the KPL will take place in Muzaffarabad from August 6 to August 16, 2021.

The league is featuring six teams including Muzaffarabad Tigers, Overseas Warriors, Rawalakot Hawks, Kotli Lions, Bagh Stallions, and Mirpur Royals.

Herschelle Gibbs along with Monty Panesar, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Phil Mustard, Owais Shah, and Matt Prior have been picked in the KPL 2021 as Overseas Players. The former South African hard-hitting batsman is part of Overseas Warriors.

Even the KPL 2021 is yet to go underway officially, India is already bent upon creating impediments in the event.

Taking to Twitter, Herschelle Gibbs claimed that the BCCI is trying to prevent him playing in the KPL 2021.

Gibbs further revealed that the BCCI is threatening him that they won’t allow him entry into India for any cricket-related work if he participates in the KPL.

Earlier, the former wicket-keeper batsman Rashid Latif also revealed that the “BCCI is warning cricket boards that if there former players took part in Kashmir Premier League, they won’t be allowed entry in India or allowed to work in Indian cricket at any level or in any capacity.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government has given a new roadmap to protect the future generations from global warming, encourage wealth creation and enhance tax collection.
He was addressing a ceremony in connection with launch of Pakistan's first environment friendly electric bike in Islamabad on Thursday.
Imran Khan said our electric vehicle policy is part of government's Clean and Green Initiative.
Terming the manufacturing of electric bikes a futuristic and positive step, he said we have to manufacture electric buses and cars in order to address the issue of pollution in big cities where the pollution level has reached the dangerous levels. In addition, he said we are also executing ten billion tree Tsunami project and preparing master plans for cities to deal with the issue.
As regards the wealth creation, the Prime Minister said it will be ensured that auto parts including that of motorcycles and other raw materials are locally manufactured.
He said the local production of products will be ensured in order to bolster our exports to address the issue of balance of payment on permanent basis. He assured to extend every possible assistance to strengthen the auto sector.
The Prime Minister said a mineral map is also being prepared which will show how rich the country is rich in natural resources.
Imran Khan said the economy is on the upward trajectory and steps are being taken to ensure sustainable growth.
Alluding to the government's austerity drive, Imran Khan said we have significantly reduced the expenditures of PM House and PM Secretariat over the last three years. He said our aim is to give confidence to the taxpayers that their money will be spent on their welfare.
In his remarks on the occasion, Minister for Industries and Production Khusro Bakhtiar said a new auto policy will be presented before the cabinet next month for approval. He said the policy will focus on local production of vehicles and make the auto industry export oriented.
He said under the electric vehicle policy, three licenses have already been given whilst licenses for seventeen more manufacturers are in the line. He said the development of charging infrastructure will also be encouraged which will provide job opportunities to the youth.
He said Pakistan has a good motorcycle manufacturing industry and it is eyeing their exports to Afghanistan, Central Asian States and Africa.x

UAE nationals, golden visa holders exempted.

On Saturday, UAE’s premier airline announced that it won’t be flying passengers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka to Dubai till July 15.

The ban also extends to passengers who have connected through these countries in the last 14 days.

“UAE Nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas, and members of diplomatic missions who comply with updated COVID‑19 protocols are exempt and may be accepted for travel,” a statement by the airline stated.
