WHO ARE WE? // SINO KAMI?

[EN] The recently formed St. James the Apostle Parochial Digital Media Ministry aims to reach out our beloved parishioners of St. James the Apostle Parish in Santiago City using the modern technology. This is through the initiative of our current Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Carlito Sarte, amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Along with the Official Page’s reach, “Saint James the Apostle Parish” (facebook.com/saintjamessantiagocity) of official announcements, infrastructure and charitable projects and updates, this page will focus on the digital platforms and technical services our Parish will cater beginning the so-called “new normal” in this time of public health and safety emergency.

Through this, the existing “Himig Hignaw Music Ministry”’s page goes off the air to cater out this new initiative for the betterment of our service.

THE LOGO:

The SJP INITIALS, stands for "Saint James Parish", in which the mythical image of St. James is drawn, reminds us of his bravery and courageous acts in his time when preaching the Good News of salvation.

The SHUTTERS (represented in four colours depending on the Liturgical Calendar) introduces the new way of evangelisation with the help of modern technology. This also represents the new platforms and services to be offered by our beloved Parish through social media and digital platforms.

THE FOUR COLOURS (Blue or Purple, Gold, Red & Green) represent the Liturgical Calendar of the Catholic Church.

In all, the SAINT JAMES THE APOSTLE PARISH DIGITAL MINISTRY is within the reach of each and every one any time, anywhere, any place. Along with the Social Communications Ministry, the Saint James the Apostle Parish Digital Media Ministry offers you digital platforms our Parish will be giving not just amid the pandemic, but all throughout our lifetime.

[TAG] Kamakailan lamang ay nabuo ang “Kagawaran ng Digital Media ng Parokya ni Santiago Apostol” na ang layunin ay ang makapagpalaganap ng impormasyon gamit ang makabagong teknolohiya. Ito ay naganap dahil sa inisiyatibo ng ating kasalukuyang Kura Paroko sa gitna ng pandemyang COVID-19.

Kasama ang opisyal na pahina ng parokya, “Saint James the Apostle Parish” (facebook.com/saintjamessantiagocity) na makapag-abot ng mga mahahalagang pabatid, update sa mga proyektong imprastraktura’t kawanggawa, ang layunin ng pahinang ito ay makapagbigay ng teknikal at digital na serbisyo ng ating Parokya kasabay ang pagsisimula ng tinatawag na “new normal” sa gitna ng estado ng pampublikong kalusugan at kaligtasan.

Dahil dito, ang pahinang “Himig Hignaw Music Ministry” ay mawawala sa himpapawid upang magbigay daan sa inisyatib na ito para sa patuloy na pagbibigay serbisyong publiko ng ating Parokya.
