George Floyd is more than just an icon.
He is a monument to injustice and oppression. He's a relatable everyman to every grieving soul, to every helpless human being who has suffered injustice, racial and religious persecution and discrimination.
To have someone's knee on your neck is beyond brutality. It is the reduction of the oppressor to a heartless monster who fears no retribution. Before our very eyes, we saw not only the death of a man, but of whatever moral ascendancy this powerful nation has been left with.
We cry deep inside our hearts over the death of this nation we used to know. After all, it was once a bulwark of democracy and human rights.
While the world grieves the tragic death of this man, we see the exposure of a flawed criminal justice system that has oppressed the voiceless and the powerless far too long.
Unbeknownst to the world, the shaking of the hornet's nest has taken place in the early morning of January 29, 2020.
We need not repeat the sad narrative that has been told over and over again. Hapless innocent missionaries treated like hardened criminals - already guilty of the crimes they have not committed.
The houses of worship had been desecrated. Muddied floors left not only men's footprints, but traumatic memories of oppression two women will carry on to their graves.
A two-year-old girl and her mother held at gun point - God was the only One who heard their cries.
The Appointed Son of God, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is heaven's witness to the injustice and monstrosity of these men in authority.
Like Abraham and Lot before the judgment of S***m and Gomorrah, Pastor Apollo is God' eyewitness to the wickedness of this generation.
Seven nights and seven days did he come before God's Throne - the Supreme Court of heaven, praying and fasting, asking for justice.
"I will recompense," saith the Lord.
The pandemic ravaged, leaving thousands dead and over 40 million unemployed.
Then George Floyd happened. The fire has been stoked. It went beyond control.
The cries for justice became louder and louder with each passing day.
"I can't breathe." A single sentence mouthed by a man slumped to the ground awaiting his death. Nine minutes. He begged for his life.
"I can't breathe."
Exactly how the Appointed Son of God felt with the injustice committed by men in authority who were supposed to champion the God fearing and righteous.
What has happened to the great nation we once looked up to?
God has the answer through the telling signs of civil unrest, unstoppable pandemic, and loss of hope.
The Appointed Son of God has repeated over and over again: the desecration of the Houses of Worship will be followed by judgment. It is transpiring before our very eyes.
The dissidents who connived with evil men and made up stories to pin down an innocent man know the truth in their hearts but refuse to come to the light for their hands are muddied by their own transgressions.
Unless they leave that country in troubled waters, the curse, the plagues will never stop.
God has shown us some abusive proud men in power whom He had abased. Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Sennacherib, Herod Agrippa. The robbing of the tithes and offerings from the sanctuaries has wrought curse upon that land.
"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation." Malachi 3:8-9
For the past 28 years, Pastor Apollo brought nothing but love and goodwill in that land. From county to county, state to state, Pastor Apollo has been a faithful shepherd to the lost.
What has been spoken of, propagated and taught within the walls of every Kingdom Light Congregation is nothing but the divine teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And if being condemned, persecuted and bullied to submission is the the most honorable thing you could do to a Man of God like him, that reflects the evil, godless human beings you have become.
You are no different than Belshazzar who was later on condemned for desecrating the House of God.
Can you not see the clear writing on the wall? It spells destruction and curse. It spells justice for the oppressed and judgment for the wicked.
The Appointed Son of God is fervently praying that the vision of the second wave of judgment to befall your nation will not happen. It was of a massive earthquake leaving all buildings smoldering to the ground.
May the Almighty enlighten hearts, minds and souls especially those in the ranks of power and authority.
May every ear hear the faint cry in the dark, asking for justice, begging for equality.
The God of Heaven is more than just a God of Love. He is a God of Justice and Judgment. He hears every cry. He delivers the oppressed from the hands of the oppressors.
He gives air and freedom when a man cries and says, "I can't breathe."
This world may be bereft of justice, but the Heaven is listening 24-7 to even the faintest cry of the oppressed.
He heard His Appointed Son.
We see these incredible things happening before our very eyes.
