Our Story

On January 2016, Marjorie has founded the Rabbanah Entertainment to gather all the aspiring artists particularly the Youth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She wished to produce passion projects like benefit concerts, music videos, talent shows and social media art contests. On her first attempt on producing a benefit concert, the hype was there, she was grateful for the artists she come to know and gather. But unfortunately, it didn’t pursue.

On the same exact month this year Marjorie was offered the position to be the Publicity Administrator for FSY 2020 Quezon City and Valenzuela Session. She was hesitant to accept the call at first but then as she asked for inspiration, she first thought of Maget whom she felt the best companion for the said assignment. This made them to work together again.

In 2019, Marjorie and Maget started to work together. They already produced 2 videos. Marjorie is the videographer and stands as the creative director while Maget is the video editor and graphic designer.

Even though they are both amateurs. They did their best to fulfill their assignments for the FSY Session. They are humbled as others expressed their love and support. They are truly happy to serve.

They realized that they have a good partnership and complement each other. Though busy in other things, they dedicate their time to fulfill their individual assignments. Collaboration is the key. As they acknowledge the Lord in their partnership, it is illuminating that after each of their creation they can say that “it was good”. Like the Savior after The Creation was completed He said, “It was very good, and rested.” How can we not feel the joy of the Lord in that creative process? Same thing as we create.

They agreed to pursue this course. Originally Marjorie thought of naming the Video Production as “The Living Articles of Faith”. But the name was long so she shortened it to “The Art of Faith”. And they thought why not!? The phrase is not so common and the main reason why they do this thing is to create arts. They want to help people understand and express the art of their faith through their products. The art we create should always reflect what we believe, hold dear in our hearts, and strive each day to live by. The guidelines stated in the 13th Articles of Faith help us understand what art should be. "We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul —We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things."

They have great hope that this Community will grow and their cause will fulfill something great in the future.

They want to end this by sharing this statement from Richard Oman (March 27, 2011), “David O. McKay once said, “Make your home your hobby.” A hobby doesn’t have to be perfect. In fact the Greek root of the word “amateur” is to do something for love. It is the process that counts. That is why we talk about “living the Gospel.” We can infuse our home with creations that express our deepest values, identity, and faith. It is like adding the lyrics to a great song. The visual arts in a home can preach to the eyes as well as the ears. They can share visually what matters most to us with our friends and families. And in the process we can remind ourselves of our roots, covenants, and spiritual goals to become like our Lord and Creator.”

So we need to get started. We can look around and borrow bits and pieces of other creations to get us jump-started. What we create doesn’t have to be perfect. We can have fun. Even the Lord had fun in His experimentations.
