The beginning of Rob Rubin Readings

How it all started..

For 23 years Ive had the pleasure and privilege of reading the Tarot for thousands of people all around the world. In this journey I’ve made friends, opened minds, changed lives and even met the woman of my dreams because of the tarot!

But its always important to go back to the very beginning to keep focused on the WHY behind Rob Rubin Readings

Lets rewind to the year 2000. The whole Harry potter esq approach to studies of the intuitive like the Tarot was rampant all around.. Self professed Masters, High Priest(esses) Magus’s and magickian were all about teaching classes, and using the Tarot to further their publicity and presence where ever they were.

However upon deep investigation and retrospection I noticed a common theme. That many of those using the Tarot were doing so in a doom and gloom fashion. Predicting devastating and demoralising events in their clients lives in order to fool them into an unnecessary mark up.. It’s was upon the discovery of this phenomenon that I asked myself one question..

Is this what the Tarot is all about????

Of course not! My self reflected answer was!! Then why was it that something as beautiful and empowering as the Tarot was in constant abuse where ever I looked.. It was there and then that I made a decision. I made a commitment to be the ALTERNATIVE I made a dedication to the practice of the Tarot of only the highest standards.

It was there that Rob Rubin Readings was born

I made it my personal mission as a Tarot Consultant to totally revamp how people thought of the tarot. Where others would come to readings dressed in black from head to toe dawning Pentacles and cloaks. I would come dressed as a professional.

When other readers would give what we now coin as “Misfortune Telling” sessions. I would make it my sole purpose to sow Hope and Empowerment to all the people I read. If I saw something that looked like bad news to my clients, Instead of condemning them to said negative fate I would said PLEASE prove me wrong Id rather you be happy!!!

I made the practice of the Tarot all about what I could DO for the client and less about what I could gain from them...

And the ball started rolling and Boy did the news spread fast!!!

Now on a weekly basis I’m given the honor of meeting new and amazing people due to the reputation that I have built for not only my own Tarot consultations but for those within Mysterium Philippines as well (www.Facebook.com/MysteriumPhilippines)

In other words. We set a standard.. We professionalized #Tarot throughout Metro Manila. All because We chose to put the client first!!
