TINGNAN: Personal na binisita ni Punumbayan Henry Joel Teves kamakailan ang idinulog ni Punong Barangay Rodel Calica ng Barangay San Jose na pag-apaw ng kanilang drainage canal tuwing tag-ulan na isa sa problema ng kanilang barangay na nagiging sanhi ng pagbaha sa kalsada at ilang kabahayan sa Sitio Duongan.

Nangako naman ang Punumbayan na ito ay bibigyang aksyon at isasaayos ang naturang suliranin sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Engineering Office.

Ang naturang programa ay bilang paghahanda ng mga paaralan sa darating na pasukan at sa pagpapanatili ng matatag na ugnayan sa pagitan ng paaralan at pamahalaan.

TINGNAN: Bumisita sa tanggapan ni Punumbayan Henry Joel Teves nitong Martes ng umaga, Hulyo 23, ang mga mag-aaral ng Porfirio G. Comia Memorial National High School (COMEHI) na kabilang sa mga pinakamahusay sa buong Pilipinas na lumahok at nagkamit ng mga karangalan sa ginanap na 2024 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) sa Carcar City, Cebu noong Hulyo 8-12, upang personal na magpasalamat sa tulong na ipinagkaloob ng Punumbayan sa kanilang naging laban.

Ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral mula sa Porfirio G. Comia Memorial National High School (COMEHI) ang kanilang husay at galing sa larangan ng Campus Journalism matapos nilang mag-uwi ng mga karangalan sa ginanap na 2024 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) sa Carcar City, Cebu noong Hulyo 8-12 kung saan nakipagsabayan ang mga naturang mag-aaral laban sa mga kinatawan mula sa 17 rehiyon ng bansa sa individual, group, at school paper contests.

Itinanghal na kampeon ang pitong mag-aaral ng COMEHI sa Collaborative Desktop Publishing (CDP) - Secondary (Filipino) na kategorya. Kinabibilangan ito nina Charlene S. Gonzalvo, Princess D. BATANG NAUJEÑO, NAKAKUHA NG DALAWANG MEDALYANG SILVER SA PALARONG PAMBANSA

Pagdating sa larangan ng isports ay hindi talaga nagpapahuli ang kabataang Naujeño. Patunay dito ay ang batang Naujeño na si Neil Airo A. Esteron ng Del Pilar Elementary School Annex na nag-uwi ng dalawang medalyang silver sa katatapos lamang na Palarong Pambansa 2024 na ginanap sa Cebu City.

Nakuha ni Esteron ang dalawang medalyang silver sa larong Atheltics 100 Meters Elementary Boys at Atheltics 200 Meters Elementary Boys kung saan naging katunggali niya ang ibang mag-aaral sa elementary na nagmula sa iba’t-ibang rehiyon ng bansa.

Congratulations! Isang pagbati at pagsaludo sa karangalang iyong dala sa Bayan ng Naujan at sa buong Lalawigan ng Oriental Mindoro maging sa buong Rehiyon ng MIMAROPA.

State weather bureau PAGASA is currently monitoring two Low Pressure Areas.

At 8:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, the LPA to the west was over the West Philippine Sea, some 225 km west of Calapan City.

PARA KAY K SA BARANGAY: ARAW NG MGA KASAMBAHAY REGIONAL CELEBRATION, GINANAP SA BAYAN NG NAUJAN

Sa layuning ipalaganap ang mga impormasyon hinggil sa karapatan ng mga kasambahay na nakapaloob sa Republic Act No. 10361 na mas kilalang Domestic Workers Act o Kasambahay Law, isinagawa ang Regional Celebration ng Araw ng mga Kasambahay ngayong Enero 22 sa Colegio De Naujan Gymnasium sa Bayan ng Naujan.

Kinikilala ng batas na ito ang trabaho ng kasambahay na tulad din ng trabaho ng mga nasa pormal na sektor at binibigyang-halaga ang mga kontribusyon ng mga kasambahay sa ekonomiya.

Ang gawaing ito ay pinangungunahan ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA sa pangunguna ni DOLE MIMAROPA Regional Director Naomi Lyn C. Abellana katuwang ang DOLE Oriental Mindoro Provincial Office at dinaluhan naman ng mga opisyales ng barangay at mga PESO Managers mula sa mga Bayan ng Naujan, Victoria, Socorro at Pola.

Binigyang-diin ng DOLE sa nasabing aktibidad, na ang pagtitiyak sa kaligtasan ng mga kasambahay sa kanilang lugar-paggawa ay nakasaad sa mandato ng kagawaran at isang pangmatagalang kontribusyon ito para sa isang matatag, maginhawa, at panatag na buhay ng bawat taumbayan.

Layunin din ng programa na ito na ipalaganap ang karapatan ng isang kasambahay tulad ng safe space act at kompensasyon na kanilang dapat natatanggap.

Sa pagbibigay ng tamang halaga at pagkilala sa kanilang kontribusyon, ang pamahalaang bayan sa pamumuno ni Mayor Henry Joel Teves ay nagbigay pugay sa kanilang kahalagahan bilang bahagi ng ating pamilya at lipunan, sa pamamagitan ni Executive Assistant Jojo De Villa.

Nakiisa at nagbahagi rin ng kanilang mga kaalaman at mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa nasabing usapin sina DOLE Oriental Mindoro Provincial Head Roderick Tamacay, Technical Support and Services Division (TSSD) Chief Marjun Moreno, Regional Tripartite Wages Productivity Board (RTWPB) Atty. Grace Lyn C. Pantaleon, Ariel Regino mula sa Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at DOLE MIMAROPA Senior Labor and Employment Officer Ramezes Torres.
