The 2023 Silang (Cavite) Music festival, a free concert by Mayor Atty Kevi Anarna for the people of Cavite. Mammoth crowd is an understatement! around 40K or more! even their FB page has 14K comments as of last night!

History in the making, next year 2024 would be something to look forward to!

Master ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Shoot everyday. Study your results (including what shutter speed, ISO and aperture settings you used for your favorite shots).
Anytime you feel that your equipment is inadequate, it just means you need to master the basics better. The master photographers from 50-100 years ago didn’t have anything as fancy as you are holding in your hot little paws, so claiming inadequate equipment isn’t a good excuse. Work on your skills.
Composition is everything. Study the master painters (Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, etc) for inspiration in composition. Start to see things as a painter.
Hit us over the head with your subject. Make it obvious what we are supposed to be seeing. Remove the clutter.”

Bismack Biyombo stepped away from the game last year to return to Africa and take care of his father, who was struggling with Covid. Biyombo flew him to Europe for treatment, but his father passed away, leaving Bismack devastated.

Biyombo couldn't find the will to play basketball in the aftermath of his father's death and took some time off to grieve.

But he came back partway through this season because he wanted to play with a purpose, and that purpose ultimately became donating his entire salary to build a hospital back home in his father's name. It's a touching story, and his dad would be so proud ❤️
