My Response to the Supreme Court’s Decision Regarding My Opinion About Judge Marlo Malagar’s Unfortunate Decision About the 15th Deadliest Terrorist Organization in the World, CPP NPA NDF
I’d like, first of all, to thank the Supreme Court for stating very clearly that the right of every Filipino to freely express themselves remains sacrosanct and making me walk free with a minimal fine of 30,000 pesos–much to the dismay of the CPP NPA NDF who wanted me jailed.
That I expressed outrage and profound bewilderment that such an egregious decision made by Judge Malagar declaring the CPP NPA NDF as “not terrorist” when it happens to be the 15th deadliest terrorist organization in the world and listed as ‘terrorist’ in the US, UK, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Australia, the UN, EU, the Philippines, the cause of untold numbers of deaths of our children who were deceptively recruited into this terrorist organization by way of their fronts like the National Union of People’s Lawyers (NUPL) that is directly connected to the underground mass organization Lupon ng mga Manananggol ng Bayan or LUMABAN that was designated “terrorist” by the Anti Terrorism Council, the slaughter thousands upon thousands of our indigenous peoples and other Filipinos, the wholesale destruction of our country for over half a century that continue to this day, the cold blooded murder of 21 year old football star Kieth Absalon– our Supreme Court has indeed made it clear that the right above all rights– our freedom of expression and the freedom of the press remain inviolate, sacred and unimpeachable –out of reach of the deadly claws of the communist terrorist group that would like to silence anyone that tells the truth about them so that they may continue to sow death and destruction on our beloved Philippines for yet another half century. I’d like to apologize to the Highest Court in the land for the intemperate language and tenor I took. I hear them but I maintain that I never threatened anyone with harm. I am not a terrorist. The CPP NPA NDF is. I cannot, however, apologize for the outrage I felt that made me take pen to paper and pour my heart out– an outrage that I feel to this day.
The day we lose our ability to feel outrage over the theft of our children by this terrorist organization, the destruction of all that we hold dear to us: our children, our families, our institutions (like Congress where 3 CPP NPA NDF operatives continue to sit as pretend-legislators but are, in fact, operatives of the CPP NPA NDF), the destiny of our country is the day we have lost our collective souls as a people. The day we have lost our will as a people to finally end the life of this terrorist organization, the CPP NPA NDF, is the day we hand over to terrorists what is truly most precious to us: our children.
Enemies of the state who meant to silence me with this case have lost once again.
NO ONE HAS BEEN SILENCED. CERTAINLY NOT ME. Thanks to our Supreme Court, our country remains the land of free and we can freely speak our minds- as we must.
The CPP NPA NDF wanted me jailed but instead I am walking free with a 30,000 peso fine. Just a reminder to be more circumspect and to rein it in a bit more.
So I will mind my manners and be a better daughter to my father who retired as Justice of the Sandiganbayan. And I will even be a better daughter by being what my father has always taught me to be, not in words but in actions: defender and protector of our people and our country.Congratulations Philippines, we won this round.
In closing, I’d like to dedicate this victory– as well as the outrage and grief of an entire nation– to Atty Hannah Jay Cesista, UP LAW GRADUATE who passed the bar last year who died recently fighting government troops as a terrorist NPA and who, even in death is being honored by the CPP NPA NDF so that they may deceive even more of our children to be terrorists like her. She was a member of the terrorist fronts ANAKBAYAN and the NUPL.
Also lost in this battle was Police Corporal Gilbert Amper who died while defending our country from these terrorists. One more casualty- out of the tens of thousands of heroic men and women in uniform who have had to give up their lives fighting a senseless war for over half a century waged by these communist terrorist CPP NPA NDF. Wounded in action was Pat. Gerard Roilon.
Bright lights snuffed once again by this terrorist organization.
Let this be the tail end of the grief we suffer as a people. MAGTULUNGAN TAYO.
