ACTA MEDICA PHILIPPINA
The National Health Science Journal

We're looking for Editorial Assistant.

Acta Medica Philippina is a peer-reviewed general medical and health science journal published by the University of the Philippines Manila.

QUALIFICATIONS
• College Graduate, preferably from a science course to facilitate understanding of scientific and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Google search, and Gmail.
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience in academic and/or scientific publication work will be given extra consideration

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess manuscript submissions as to compliance with requirements
• Reminds authors and reviewers about deadlines
• Assists the Managing Editor in administrative matters (CrossRef registration, payments processing, contracts, etc.)
• Any other task which may be assigned on a case-to-case basis.
