As Managing Director of Saga Impact Asia (SIA) publisher of https://currentph.com and Current Magazine, Ricky Rivera brings his expertise in print and broadcast journalism to the fore, leading teams in producing stories for various stakeholders. As a student of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, he moonlighted as a Justice beat correspondent of the now defunct Diario Filipino and a writer of a monthly magazine which exposed the Marcos ill-gotten wealth. After college, Ricky worked as a news writer desk of DZBB-Teleradyo, made a brief producer stint at Magandang Gabi Bayan (MGB) of ABS-CBN 2, but made tremendous headway as Southern Metro Manila beat writing for Manila Bulletin. He also was one of the reportorial teams of the New Radyo Veritas under Mario Garcia. He is also a former lecturer in History, Rizaliana, International Relations and Diplomacy and Mass Communications (teaching Newswriting and Electronic News Rooms) at University of the Philippines in Manila, Dela Salle University in Taft and Dasmarinas and Lyceum University of the Philippines. He is a Globally Certified PR Crisis Counselor and a Para-legal of the University of the Philippines College of Law. Currently, Rivera is a managing partner of a PR firm called Rebel Manila.
As Managing Editor, Ed Cordevilla is an accomplished newspaperman who wrote books and poems among them the Duterte Chronicles.
