𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥'𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
Rizal's Media Society (RMS) unfolds a successful general assembly to draw journalism students eager to address important matters and plan for the organization's future held at Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) - Dipolog Campus, Function Hall, Administrative Building on September 29.
RMS is an official student organization of the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism under the College of Arts and Sciences of JRMSU-Dipolog.
Dr. Eduardo C. Mira, the adviser of RMS, extended a warm welcome to all journalism students.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Mira highlighted the pivotal role of the media society within the university, emphasizing its responsibility in nurturing the next generation of journalism and media professionals.
On the other hand, Hon. Camila Jane B. Herrera, the College of Arts and Sciences Governor, joined the assembly to impart valuable insights.
She further underscored the significance of leadership to the upcoming officers of the organization, emphasizing the role they will play in guiding RMS towards its goals.
It was also during the gathering where new set of officers were elected. They are expected to take their oath of office next week.
After the fruitful deliberations, the meeting concluded on a high note, with attendees expressing satisfaction at the progress made during the assembly.
