Grew up in a normal Christian Family, Mikas knew God at a very young age but fully understood His Love when their family started attending in Church of God in 2013. Little did he know, this would be a place where he would find his purpose and where he would catch God’s HeART. 💝

Mikas attended the church with his family. Eventually, nung sila ay lumalaki na, sinasama sila ng kanyang ate sa isang Photography Workshop under Photography Ministry ng church. At ‘yun ang nag-impluwensya sa kanyang kumuha ng AB Communication Major in Advertising noong College. Yet, his faith before was too shallow not until the LORD humbled him when they struggled financially. Nag-stop siya sa college. Ngunit hindi hinayaan ng LORD na magSTOP si Mikas sa pag-mi-ministry. That’s the time when he had a deeper relationship with the LORD through CLDP classes and through his ministry. Finally, nakabalik na siya sa pag-aaral at kasabay nito ay nag-part-time siya sa COG as Multimedia Assist.

After he graduated College, nagpahinga muna siya as part-time worker sa church at nag-apply ng trabaho. He applied to different companies, left and right, pero hindi siya naha-hire. That was also the time when his father got sick. Mikas got frustrated because he could not help their family financially. But that was the time when the LORD spoke to him through Bro. Don Cahigas. He told Mikas to go back and work at the church as a FULL-TIME WORKER.

Pinag-isipan at ipinanalangin itong mabuti ni Mikas. Then the LORD spoke to him personally saying, “𝙰𝙽𝙰𝙺, 𝙰𝙺𝙾 𝙽𝙰𝙻𝙰𝙽𝙶 𝙰𝙽𝙶 𝙸-𝙰𝙳𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚃𝙸𝚂𝙴 𝙼𝙾.” Kaya tuluyan siyang TUMUGON sa TAWAG ng Panginoon. To his mind and heart, it is better for him to advertise the LORD than to advertise the world. It was fulfilling for him to PROMOTE the LORD.

Now, he is already in his 5th YEAR as FULL-TIME WORKER. Maraming pagkakataon na maaari siyang umalis at pumunta sa “greener pasture,” pero ang motivation niya ay, “If it’s not for the LORD fighting for me, baka matagal na akong sumuko.” Every time, he was reminded of how God provided for him and his family.

“𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥 𝐤𝐨 𝐬𝐢 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃, 𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐤𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐚𝐤𝐨 𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦.” 🌱

The LORD told him, “𝚂𝚃𝙰𝚈 𝚆𝙷𝙴𝚁𝙴 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝙰𝚁𝙴 𝙿𝙻𝙰𝙽𝚃𝙴𝙳.” Kaya hanggang ngayon, patuloy pa rin siyang nagmi-ministeryo. Mula Lunes hanggang Linggo, patuloy siya sa pag-a-ADVERTISE sa Panginoon. 🙌

To this moment, Mikas is also serving as ARTS Ministry's Multimedia Unit Head. Their mission is “𝐓𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐘 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐘𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡’𝐬 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐍 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐒 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐎𝐆 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐧.” 🖼️

So, to everyone who is working in the vineyard of the LORD, whether you are a FULL-TIME WORKER, an ON-CALL WORKER, or a VOLUNTEER WORKER, let us continue to serve God in season or out of season, in tough times or in good times. Dahil, “𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐔𝐆𝐈 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐎𝐃 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐎𝐍.” 💯🔥

We want to give you a glimpse of what's in the heart of our team as we keep serving our God through creativity. What you are about to read is a testimony from one of our Graphic Designers, Maimai Vina. "It's a privilege to be a graphic designer here at Church of God Dasmariñas kasi kahit hindi ka man nagsimula dito habang nagsisimula rin itong church, yung nasa small beginnings pa talaga sila, pinaranas at pinakita sa akin kung paano naging tapat ang Panginoon sa simbahang ito. Habang naghahanap ako ng pictures na-a-amaze ako sa mga nakikita ko sa mga nangyari for the past 31 years ng COG. Kahit 4 years pa lang ako dito, sa pamamagitan ng mga larawan na may mga ngiti, iyak, pagpupuri, pagluhod, pagtumba sa EXCEL service, pagtulong, pagreach-out or pag-evangelize sa mga bahay-bahay, pag-c-C2S, pag-AHON sa mga bundok, pagmimission sa iba't-ibang lugar dito sa Pilipinas, parang kasama na rin ako sa 31-year journey ng church. Grabe rin yung mga leader at Pastor na hanggang ngayon ay nakakasalubong mo pa rin sa iCafé na feeling ko 31 years na rin ako dito. Grabe lang talaga si Lord sa mga buhay nila. Nakakaiyak at nakaka-inspire lang kasi ang daming larawan na makikita mo talaga na naitataas ang Panginoon kung pwede lang sana ilagay lahat ng pictures—ginawa ko na. 😅 Thank you, Lord for using me in Your kingdom, to realize that You are so faithful in this faith journey. At naniniwala ako na sasamahan mo ulit kami in the next 30 years in this Church with ONE VISION, ONE MISSION, ONE HEART AT ONE GOD.😇🙌✨ GLORY TO GOD! 🙌🙌🙌😭😭😭” #ArtsMinistry #COGFamily

Creative Worship Media | A Story

We are a team formed to inspire, evangelize, and serve the church and community through multimedia arts. We are internally sub-divided into four groups: Online Media, Media Production, Broadcasting (COGTV), and Live Coverage. Serving under the Worship Department of Church of God Philippines, our works circulate on a national scale—covering church services and events' visual documentation, news & articles, and social media involvement.

Founded in 2015, Don Cahigas headed the ministry. Alongside him then were committed volunteers who, up to this day, still serve the church and the community. Today, the Lord has blessed our team with over 130 passionate volunteers; committing lives and passion as a response to our calling from the Lord. This breakthrough enables us to keep believing for more victories.

The works of our hands are all for God’s greater glory. Creativity is a gift from Him; worship is our gift back to Him.
