The Carayman National High School Acquaintance Party 2024 was a night to remember, with students and faculty coming together to celebrate unity and achievement. With the theme "Anything is possible. Interact. Link. Succeed," the event was filled with energy, joy, and unforgettable memories.

One of the main highlights was the induction of classroom and club officers, marking the beginning of a year filled with leadership and service. The event also featured the much-anticipated Search for Kuratsa King & Queen, where students showcased their grace and cultural pride on the dance floor. The Best Dressed competition added a touch of glamour, with participants turning heads in stunning outfits. Each section brought their school spirit to life with their powerful and creative yells, while intermission numbers entertained the crowd with impressive performances.

The night concluded with resounding cheers and applause, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to conquer the school year ahead. The Acquaintance Party 2024 was more than just a celebration—it was a powerful reminder that, at Carayman National High School, anything is possible when we interact, link, and succeed together!

Sa patuloy na pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika na may temang “𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨: 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚” idinaos ngayong araw, Agosto 16, 2024, ang 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 sa Carayman National High School. Ipinamalas ng mga estudyante mula sa iba’t ibang baitang ang kanilang husay at pagkamalikhain sa larangan ng sining, kung saan ang mga likhang sining ay sumasalamin sa kahalagahan at kasaysayan ng wikang Filipino.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Today, August 16, marks the second and final day of the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) at Carayman National High School. Grade 10 students are completing the final phase of the assessment, which is designed to help them determine the most suitable educational and career path based on their aptitude.

The exam is being closely monitored by Mrs. Asther E. Bachar, Education Program Supervisor II for School Management Monitoring and Evaluation (EPS II-SMME), ensuring a smooth and orderly administration of the NCAE.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Today, August 15, Grade 10 students of Carayman National High School are participating in Day 1 of the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). The assessment, mandated by DepEd Order (DO) No. 55, s. 2015, titled "Guidelines on the National Assessment of Student Learning for the K to 12 Basic Education Program," is being conducted in designated classrooms. Mrs. Nora G. Capetillo, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Calbayog 1, visited the school to oversee the conduct of the examination.

The NCAE is designed to guide students in choosing the appropriate educational and career path, assessing their aptitude across the four Senior High School tracks: Academic, Technical-Vocational-Livelihood, Sports, and Arts and Design. It also evaluates their General Scholastic Aptitude (GSA), Academic Track, and Occupational Interest Inventory (OII).

The examination continues tomorrow, August 16, for its second and final day.

Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Dr. Renato S. Cagomoc visited Calbayog 1 District for a collaborative expertise session held at Carayman Elementary School. The event was spearheaded by Dr. Geraldine P. Sumbise, Education Program Supervisor for Araling Panlipunan, and Public Schools District Supervisor Mrs. Nora G. Capetillo.

Central to the discussions was the implementation of the MATATAG Curriculum, where Dr. Cagomoc provided key insights on lesson planning and the need to streamline teachers' workloads. Dr. Cagomoc also reiterated the Department of Education's (DepEd) "No Collection" policy, emphasizing the importance of compliance across all schools. In addition, Dr. Cagomoc provided detailed information on the Expanded Career Progression for Public School Teachers, along with other updates from the Central Office.

Carayman National High School held its first 𝐇𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 (HRPTA Meeting, Parents' Orientation, and General Assembly) for the School Year 2024-2025 today, marking a significant start to the academic year.

The day commenced promptly at 7:30 a.m. with HRPTA meetings held in each respective classroom. The meetings provided an opportunity for parents and teachers to engage in detailed discussions about key issues such as student attendance during the first two weeks, students lacking required documents, updates on the Learner Information System (LIS) enrollment, and other matters. The election of Homeroom SPTA Officers concluded the session.

Following the HRPTA meetings, parents gathered for the General Assembly and orientation led by School Principal Christopher D. Salino. During this session, Mr. Salino, along with other school administrators, provided essential information on policies, academic programs, and extracurricular activities, ensuring that parents were well-informed and engaged in their children's education. The assembly also included updates on the school's recent achievements, outlined the vision for the upcoming year, and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the school and the community.

An open forum followed, allowing parents to voice their concerns, ask questions, and provide feedback directly to the school administration.

The event was notably attended by Carayman barangay officials: Lydia L. Ladag, Committee on Health; Anastacio G. Bernadit, Committee on Education; and Sheila May O. Lolo, Committee on Agriculture. Each official delivered a message of support, highlighting the role of community engagement in enhancing educational outcomes. SPTA President Belen F. Marahay also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the crucial partnership between parents and the school.

Carayman National High School’s first Himangraway concluded with the election of SPT Officers for the school year. The event was deemed a success, establishing a strong foundation for the school year ahead and reinforcing the bond between the school and its stakeholders.

Kinatawan ng bawat baitang mula ika-pito hanggang ika-labing dalawa ang lumahok sa patimpalak, na bahagi ng serye ng mga programa sa buong buwan ng Agosto para sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika.

Mr. Arnold M. Jaraba, EPS - EPP/TLE and Division Senior High School Coordinator, visited Carayman National High School today for a Joint Instructional Supervision and Monitoring session. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate and support the instructional practices within the Senior High School classes.

Accompanied by School Principal Christopher D. Salino, Mr. Jaraba observed several classes to assess adherence to educational standards and to offer guidance on enhancing teaching methodologies. The session included observations of classes conducted by Mrs. Mailen P. Colitoy in Oral Communication, Mr. Anthony Jovan L. Tan in Humanities, and Mr. Marciano E. Managaysay in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).

In addition to their observations, Mr. Jaraba and Mr. Salino provided valuable technical assistance, reinforcing their commitment to the professional growth of the faculty and the continued excellence in education at Carayman National High School.

Carayman National High School is currently conducting the second batch of its 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for Grades 8, 9, and 11. The orientation aims to provide students with crucial information about the School Rules and Regulations and to outline the guidelines necessary for a successful and orderly school year. This session is being led by School Principal Christopher D. Salino, supported by the dedicated teaching staff.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong Agosto, ipinagbubunyi natin ang ating mayamang kultura at kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng wikang Filipino. Sa temang "𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨: 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚” ating kilalanin ang ating sariling wika na nagbibigay-laya sa ating pagkakakilanlan at kasarinlan. Ang wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang isang paraan ng komunikasyon, kundi isang makapangyarihang instrumento sa paghubog ng ating kultura, pagpapahayag ng ating mga damdamin, pagsulong ng ating bayan at isang sagisag ng ating identidad at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Kaisa ang Carayman National High School sa pagtataguyod ng wikang Filipino tungo sa mapagpalayang bansa.

Carayman National High School, under the leadership of their visionary principal Mr. Christopher D. Salino, hosted its 3rd Quarter Portfolio Day Cum Recognition Day, an event filled with pride and celebration.

The event commenced with a captivating program dedicated to acknowledging the outstanding achievements of students, setting a tone of celebration and motivation. Kgwd. Anastacio Bernadit, representing the Barangay Council, graced the occasion, emphasizing the community's support for the school's endeavors. Following the recognition segment, parents were ushered to individual classrooms for the HRPTA meeting, fostering a collaborative environment for feedback and the distribution of report cards.

As the final demonstration continues at Carayman National High School, the passion and dedication of Northwest Samar State University (NWSSU) practice teachers are on full display. On the second day of the event, esteemed observers from NWSSU College of Education Faculty, including Mr. Albros Mañanita, Mrs. Julie Ann D. Edraga, Mr. Remelito Labasbas, and Dr. Myra Pilpa, graced the classrooms, providing invaluable insights and guidance to the aspiring educators.

Serving as panelists for the day were the school principal Mr. Christopher D. Salino, master teachers and seasoned educators from Carayman National High School. Their years of experience in the field brought a wealth of knowledge to the table, offering constructive critiques and commendations to the future educators.

The collaborative effort between NWSSU and CNHS highlighted the commitment to excellence in education, with both institutions working hand in hand to nurture the next generation of educators.
