Opposition submits Notice of Vote No Confidence against Prime Minister James Marape to the Speaker's

The notice will be submitted before the Parliament Committee to confirm its in order. In that:

1) a nominee is named.
2) a mover of the motion is named with his signature
3) a seconder of motion is named and his signature.
4) the notice is supported by 12 Members of Parliament with their signature.

The Speaker will announce the nominee on the floor of Parliament. Interesting time ahead.

A mother has tragically lost her life at the hands of criminals, leaving behind her beautiful children and husband without a word. Many others have faced similar experiences, losing valuable properties and experiencing profound emotional pain.

People in our city are living in fear and feeling deprived of their rights and freedom of movement. The harsh economic conditions have taken a toll on us, and those struggling to survive are increasingly frustrated with the lack of accountability for the failings of our government.

Car theft has surged at an alarming rate, and food prices have skyrocketed. Meanwhile, our government seems to be watching as we crumble under the weight of these challenges.

Living in Port Moresby is significantly more expensive than in many other parts of the world, making it incredibly difficult for ordinary citizens to make ends meet. Our innocent, hardworking citizens are confronted with life-threatening situations, while some struggle to survive day by day. The government appears indifferent to our plight, and the judiciary system is failing to uphold justice.

We find ourselves in unprecedented circumstances, where people feel powerless to defend themselves and continue to suffer. Although our country is rich in natural resources, corrupt leadership is crippling our nation and hindering our progress.

Photo attached is our DF Minister, an heavy es**rt in his own village, a village of our CEO. This kind of leadership only display in African countries where leaders steal millions and hundreds so to protect them but sadly it happen in PNG, very sadly ,it happen in my own village 😢.

A quick question.
What are we telling our people in this action? In Movie, Military presence is seen in war zones.

Here in this village our DF minister scored well over 3000+ votes and yet he was seen es**rted by more than 10 DF personals🙄.

A Disturbing Display of Power: When the PNGDF is Reduced to a Personal Security Force.

In deeply concerning development, members of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force's Long Range Reconnaissance Unit (LRRU) and military police were recently spotted es**rting the Defence Minister Billy Jospeh and District Administrator Camilus Ombalo to the opening of a classroom in Ombalo's own village. What should have been a simple community event turned into a spectacle of military presence, raising serious questions about the misuse of our nation's armed forces.

The sight of heavily armed soldiers accompanying a politician to a classroom opening is not only alarming but also indicative of a growing trend in Papua New Guinea: the erosion of the boundaries between state power and personal privilege. This event highlights a disturbing reality where our Defence Force, established to protect the nation, is being reduced to the role of personal security guards for politicians. In more concerned thoughts, such es**rts happens in African countries.

This misuse of military resources is not just a matter of poor judgment—it is a blatant abuse of power. The PNGDF, particularly elite units like the LRRU, are trained for critical national security operations, not for es**rting politicians at local events. Such actions undermine the very purpose of our military and disrespect the sacrifices made by those who serve to protect our country.

Moreover, this incident reveals a deeper issue: the growing militarization of civil spaces in Papua New Guinea. When military forces are deployed for routine political functions, it sends a chilling message to the public. It suggests that our leaders are more concerned with displaying power than serving the people. It also raises fears of intimidation, as the presence of armed forces at what should be peaceful community events can easily be perceived as a threat.

What does this say about our democracy when politicians feel the need to be surrounded by soldiers in their own electorates? Are they so disconnected from the people they represent that they believe their safety is at risk, even in their home villages? Or is this a calculated move to assert dominance and suppress dissent through the show of military might?

As citizens, we must ask ourselves: Is this the direction we want our country to take? Should our Defence Force, a symbol of national unity and pride, be exploited for the personal gain of a few individuals? The answer is a resounding no.

It is time for the Papua New Guinean to demand accountability from our leaders. The Defence Minister Billy Joseph owes the nation an explanation for this misuse of military resources. We must stand up against the militarization of our society and ensure that the PNGDF remains a force for the protection of our nation, not a tool for political convenience.

Let us not forget that the true strength of a nation lies not in the display of military might but in the trust and respect between its leaders and citizens. This trust is eroded when our armed forces are misused for personal agendas. We must remain vigilant and hold our leaders to account, ensuring that the PNGDF is used for its rightful purpose: defending our nation and upholding our democracy.

He was charged and locked up but later bailed.
He attended his court case and was ordered to pay a court fine...

I wish to dispel another fake statement being circulated by desperate individuals who are using dirty tactics to create confusion and misinformation.

Online trolls have used my letterhead to suggest a vacancy in the Alternative PM Nominee which is untrue and false. Such a decision will always require the consent, discussion and agreement with the majority of our 33-Strong Opposition leaders.

I remind these unnamed individuals that their attempts to disrupt the Opposition only makes us stronger. The desperate misinformation campaign is a clear indication that they are afraid of losing power and such tactics are last minute attempts to shift attention from the many problems facing the country.

I caution the general public to always verify information and remind the media houses to fact check statements nowadays if it is not from a reputable source.

Message from O'niell at the Crown hotel to his PNC party executives.

Hello goodpla day ol die hard fans na supporters blo PNC na ol work man Meri.

Goodpla day na welcome to our gathering today.

To be honest with you. We're not aiming for the top post if there is a Vote of No-Confidence. Our task now is to be in a new government and consolidate our numbers in Preparation for the 2027 national Election.

We will bring our numbers to support our sister political parties.

Last but not the least - since we have numbers we will only negotiate for only three Ministries and it'll be Either Treasury/Finance, Petroleum and Energy and Police.

Meeting today ends at 12:30 PM.

Note: If there's a successful Vote of No-Confidence.
1. The first order of business will be checking Marape books.
2. Since PNC has Numbers to support any new Prime Minister and if Police Minister is given to a PNC party member then Marape Political Career ends here.

Hon. Peter O'niell made himself clear that he has no interest whatsoever to be our Prime Minister at the moment. His intention is to stabilize his numbers and look forward to the 2027 National Election.

Why are we so jealous of ourselves, when will we as a nation own our own economy and become economically independent?
