To those of us who can't understand the meaning of Holy and why we Catholics call Pope Francis as our Holy Father, please spare a moment to read this and digest this into your cognitives.

The term "holy" refers to being set apart for a special purpose, dedicated to God, and embodying godly qualities like love, kindness, and righteousness.

In the Bible, "holy" is often used to describe things, places, and people dedicated to God's service (Leviticus 20:26). The word "holy" doesn't mean someone is perfect, but that they are striving to live according to God's will. Christians are called to be holy because God Himself is holy (1 Peter 1:16).

Pope Francis, as the leader of the Catholic Church, is considered holy because his role is dedicated to leading God's people and serving the Church, which is part of his calling. Like other religious leaders, he strives to live a life dedicated to God and help others in their spiritual journeys.

This title doesn't imply that he's perfect, but it reflects his position of service to God and the Church. Calling him "holy" acknowledges the special responsibility he has as the spiritual leader of millions of people worldwide.

I am greatly humble to see Pope Francis with his side glass down and waving to everyone lining up the road down from 2mile YWCA into Korobosea drive heading towards the Vatican Embassy up at Airnigini village.

Mosbi ya unliveable city, risky at nights..most visiting world leaders or other international visitors do not cruise the side streets in the night with their side glass down. They keep to the main roads and with speed straight to the hotel.

Honestly this humble Pope does not seem to care about security risk! Witnessing such is unbelievable..

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝟲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗺𝘆𝗮

The 6 all- male pilgrims from St. Mathews sub- Parish, Menyamya district in Morobe province, have finally arrived at the church ground at 1am today Thursday 05th Sept, after walking for 5 days, leaving Menyamya last Saturday 31st Aug at around 8am, and arriving today in Port Moresby (St. Mary's Cathedral) Thursday 05th Sept.

After walking through thick jungles, climbing mountains, crossing valleys, rivers, each holding the Holy Rosary in their hands, walking in Faith and Prayer, these courageous pilgrims finally made it to their destination. Despite the challenges, they finally reached their destination.

| Southern Highlands and Hela MPs at Hilton today in discussions about the VONC, numerical strength, and who their PM candidate is. Minister for Defense Dr Billy Joseph who posted this picture said they were the "hausman" implying they controled politics in PNG. They have held the PM's post for the last 13 years through O'Neil and Marape and will not give up power easily. Hela province was once a district of Southern Highlands until the Somare government made it it's own province in 2010.

As a man, do not allow anybody to tell you that it is their culture for you to pay millions as bride price. Agree to pay, but only if you are marrying a virgin. You cannot be paying through your nose for what another man ate for free or for urgent 5k. That is not marriage. That is cheating!

Please fact-check me. In pure African tradition, a husband did not pay a bride price to the girl's family for the bride. He actually paid the bride price for the virginity of the bride. That is why in pre-colonial African culture, such as Yoruba tradition, the groom sleeps with the bride on a piece of white cloth on their wedding day, and the next day, the stained white cloth is presented to the bride's family as proof of the bride's virtue. Any day the husband misbehaves, the bride's family present the a*o asa Ibale to him, to remind him that he met their daughter at home.

That asa Ibale culture was so important, that if the a*o funfun is not stained, the marriage is not consummated, and the so-called bride is disgraced and sent back to her parents.

Even Scripturally, the bride price was only paid for virgins. We see this in Exodus 22:17. That was why David paid a bride price for Michal in 1 Samuel 18:27, but did not pay a bride price for Abigail in 1 Samuel 25:42. Because Abigail was not a virgin.

Read it yourself in Isaiah 62:5:

"For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you."

As a matter of fact, if the woman is not a virgin, it is you that the parents should be paying a dowry, or at least give her away in marriage for free and pay the marriage cost.

Modernity should not make us lose our culture or turn us into people who have no value for our tradition or our women to the extent that being sexually loose is termed sophistication. Mba!

DEAFENING SILENCE on the POM BISCOL INCODENT

An ugly and unprecedented event in the discharge of fi****ms by certain members of the PNG Police Force within a School Premises (Pom Biscol) last Friday has seen hundreds of students traumatized, floundering and fleeing about as fugitives (in an area designated as Safe Learning Space) is already shocking in itself but even worse, very disturbing and unacceptable in the ensuring Silence from the Authorities thereafter. The incident winded down on a student sustaining fatal injuries from a gunshot.

Footages of the incident flooded the social media last Friday yet there is no commentary from the Police Boss and the Country's CEO to date. Also interestingly no mention in the PNG mainstream media (correct me if I'm wrong) and now three days bygone and life continues.

Management of Politics has evidently outgrown and overshadowed the Priority to Manage the Country and to hold the Welfare of its Citizens, Humanity, in the Highest Regard! Avaricious and desperate, our leaders have set sail on a dangerous and treacherous quest to conquer the world at the cost of everything and anything, and I mean ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.

Not only the life of an innocent and "promising future" now hangs on the balance in the wake of the incident but the implied consent from authorities in the form of SILENCE ensuring thereafter imposes THREAT on the safety of students in every other such institution or community of similar standing. This SILENCE effectively enforces chances of repetition or perpetuity of similar, if not more aggravated, incidents in the future.

The PM and the Police Commission have terribly failed to COMMENT on and CONDEMN this incident in the Strongest Terms. Our Educational Institutions house and breed our Intellectuals and Leaders of this Country and should not be entirely exposed to open danger and threats from outside elements including the Police. Three days have now gone and our leaders are totally occupied with what we could only describe as "Managing Politics".

Call for Greater Autonomy for Morobe.

Morobeans must now call for Greater Autonomy; that is for greater economic, financial and administrative powers and control to broaden the revenue base for the province. It is also to manage its resources and own affairs.

This autonomy will not be like Bougainville's where they were given full autonomous status for the region. Bougainville is now pushing for independence. Their background is different from our call because they fought a civil war from 1988-1998(10 years). During the Bougainville crisis about 20,000 people were killed, many instalments and properties were destroyed and the BCL was closed.

Key Assumptions

1. What if the 11th National Parliament decides to ratify and grant political independence to Bougainville?

2. If National Government can easily give the benefits (BSA)for the oil and gas to SHP and Hela provinces, what about Morobe's resources?

3. What if Paŕliament rejects Bougainville's Independence, will Bougainvilleans take up arms or revert back to Greater Autonomy?

4. What if the National Governmet uniliterally cuts Morobe's budget and PIP projects like in the 2022 budget?

In 2022 National Budget, the National Government cut K113 million from Morobe's budget.

5. What if the National Governmènt does not provide PIP funding to Morobe?

No Public Investment Projects (PIP) was approved for Morobe in 2022 budget Morobe has saddly missed out badly.

Morobe is missing out big time because what is being generated as revenue in Morobe are remitted back to the National Government and it is then redirected to other provinces through the normal budgetary process, while the people of Morobe continue to miss out.

Governor for Morobe, Luther Wenge who has been adamant on Greater Auntomony in this campaign flagship and Reinbo Paita is the Minister for Nationàl Planning. What did they do? Did they ever asked for Morobe's fair share?

Our people need roads, bridges,airstrips, wharves and jetties, communication infrastrctures, health and education services.

These were the same attitudes that the National Government exerted on the Panguna Landowners in the 1980s and left no option for late Francis Ona and other LOs of Panguna to close BCL and go into an armed conflict.

Cairns Model

Looking at Cairns City in Australia

today. Cairns has an international airport that gets international flights from overseas. Cains also has internationàl wharf that receives ships and cargoes from overseas.

As it is now, Bougainville does not have an international wharf and an international shipping port. In other words Bougainville does not have the capacity now to build up their own revenue base and manage their own affairs if the become independent. Maybe in the future, they will be able to get those infrastructures.

The revenue that Cains City gets is put back into developing the city. Whatever revenue generated in Cairns does not go to the Federal Government of Australia.

Cairns is now one of the thriving cities in Australia and in the region.

If Morobe is given "Greater Autonomy" it can manage is own affairs and still remain as an integral part of PNG just as what Cairns does.

Call for 35% BSA under Greater Autonomy for Morobe

The call for "Greater Autonomy" for Morobe is to claim 35% of the earnings(BSA)from all new and existing resource projects suçh as;

1. Hidden Valley Mine(existing)
2. Lae International Wharf (existing)
3. Nadzab International Airport
(On-going)

4. Wagang Fisheries Wharf(proposed)
5. Busu Hydro Power(proposed)
6. Morobe South Coast Mine(proposed)
7. Kui/Buso Chromite Mine(proposed)
8. Wafi/Golpu Mine(proposed)
9. Momolili/Zezegi Oil and
Gas(proposed)
10. And any new projects that may be
discovered in Morobe.

Morobe should also become a Free Trade Zone (MFTZ) because of its strategic location and the existing infrastractures such as; Lae Wharf and Nadzab International Airport.

These strategies will greatly ease the financial burdens for Morobe and broaden its revenue base.

National Government can not down play this call for "Greater Autonomy" because the people of Morobe have suffered long enough. Roads that were built in the 1980s have all deteriorated to waterways. Lutheran Shipping is no longer servicing the marinetime districts of Morobe. Access to markets and basic serviçes are staggering. As a result of that the costs of basic goods and services have increased and living costs are high. PNG is one country in the region that is very expensive. These are few examples of the realities faced by the people of Morobe every day.

Morobeans are now being pushed to the side and can no longer sit and watch.
This call for "Greater Autonomy" for Morobe is a call for change in the

mindset, political leadership, economic and financial regime.
