"In an unknown institute, a controversial experiment is taking place. Headed by Professor Stein who wishes to unlock the full potential of the human mind. Upon success we find out the sinister truth behind the experiment."

Project Eve is a short sci-fi/horror film written and produced by Fredrick Pokai, starring May Saussey as Eve, Peata Panoho as Delilah, and Jaemes Peter Churchward as Professor Stein.

Fred is one of five applicants chosen for the Sawmill Studios Summer Grant Films and is currently filming his short at Sawmill Studios here in Marlborough.

Produced by Philip S. Frost and Ruth Gill, short film Red Light is the 3rd of 5 films currently being shot at Sawmill Studios as part of the Sawmill Studios Summer Grants.

Red Light follows Karli, who is on the brink of getting her driver's license, as she grapples with anxiety during her driving test while wrestling with a difficult past and being haunted by a childhood car accident that took her parents.

Short film Little Buddy is the second of five films to be shot at Sawmill Studios over the next month as part of the Sawmill Studios Summer Grants.

"After his divorce, Krish and Sean find themselves grappling with unresolved emotions and bitter resentment. Krish, an absentee father who refused to acknowledge his contribution to the marriage's downfall, blames Sean entirely. When tragedy strikes and their child Eli passes away, the fragile threads holding their strained relationship together begin to unravel. Despite the opportunity for healing and reconciliation, Krish's deep-seated bitterness and denial prevent him from reaching out to Sean for support, ultimately leading him down a path of illusions and regret."

Produced by Suzie Morrell and Written by Lorcan Reilly, short film The Tongue Thief is the 1st of 5 films to be shot at Sawmill Studios over the next 6 weeks as part of the Sawmill Studios Summer Grants.

Featuring Bridget McNamara as a grieving mother and Paul Southey as the priest who listens to her heart-breaking confession, The Tongue Thief is the story of how far a parent is prepared to go to reconcile the death of her daughter.

All the best to Suzie Morrell, Lorcan Reilly and their team as they begin filming this morning at Sawmill Studios.

Lorcan's script The Tongue Thief was choosen as one of five short films to recieve the Sawmill Studios Summer Film Grant. As well as writing The Tongue Thief, Lorcan Reilly wrote the screenplay for the short film, Baghead, which has since been remade into a feature film and recently played at cinemas world wide.
