The problem with jumping on every trend is that your audience can sense when you’re trend-jacking. Some memes will fit your brand; some will just be cringe. Some holidays will make sense to celebrate on your brand socials; some will just seem like you’re desperate for content or confused about your mission.

So here’s what I recommend; build a list of important dates, holidays, and trends. Then go through that list and select only the items that match your brand’s vision, values, and products/services. In other words, only join trends and celebrations that can be leveraged *authentically*.
