Stimulus: The New Zealand Journal of Christian Thought and Practice is an online publication which seeks to invite theological reflection and encourage spiritual growth. It features articles which engage theologically with the challenges and beauty of life around us. We publish lead articles (4,000 words), which have a strong academic basis, yet are accessible and readable for the thinking Christian. We are interested in receiving submissions on a variety of topics within a broad field of Christian thought and practice, from systematic and contextual theology, to pastoral care, missions, and ministry. All papers are peer reviewed. If you would like to find out more, email [email protected]

The Stimulus has been working away in the background getting the latest issue of Stimulus ready for release just in time for Christmas! Four of the articles has a particular focus on the ongoing Covid Pandemic with Lynne Taylor, Sebastian Murrihy, Chris Northcott and Derek Tovey offering articles from their various disciplines - both academic and pastoral. We also have an article from Laidlaw's OT lecturer, Richard Neville looking at the moral dilemma of the flood. Along with our articles, we've got some great contributions to our columns and reviews. The Stimulus team - Mark Keown, Sarah Penwarden, and Fiona Sherwin wish you a wonderful Christmas break and find space to pause and reflect on the reason for the season - the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ. https://hail.to/laidlaw-college/publication/Ssf86mf
