So fresh, so clean 💻🤩 - like many of our customers, we took the opportunity of our recent re-brand to freshen up our website. In a world of digital noise the Waxeye web team wanted our new site to look and feel fresh, clean and simple - with a healthy dose of Waxeye magic.

Check out this cool project we recently completed for the amazing team at MAST Academy - New Zealand’s most innovative training organisation for marine, composites and specialised technology training 🚤⛵️👩🏻‍🔧👨🏽‍🔧.

MAST approached Waxeye to craft a virtual reality experience to attract and engage prospective learners, giving them an authentic glimpse into life working in the marine sector, as well as the learning pathways to take them there.

Our artists created an entire world using CG to beautifully capture NZ fauna and flora and reflect the Comvita brand story.

🚑 Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere! 🚑
When deciding how to spend your Sunday, working with bandages and CPR dummies is not the first thing that comes to mind, and we're proud to announce that some of our team sacrificed their rest-day to brush up on their first aid skills!
Big thank you to our instructor Saoirse from Fire Rescue and First Response Ltd who taught us how to react in those critical moments before professional help arrives. When something unforeseen happens, having trained individuals who can provide immediate assistance can make all the difference!
At waxeye, we believe in fostering a culture of safety, care, and continuous learning, and this course is part of the proactive steps we’re taking toward creating a safer environment for everyone in our studio.
We’re proud to invest in our staff’s well-being and equip them with the skills to make a positive impact both inside and outside the workplace.

We had a blast testing our latest AR app at some local classrooms, and it was great to see how absorbed and interested the kids were in learning about the ANZAC's involvement in the Gallipoli campaign.

We got some awesome feedback to help us create the best possible experience.

An immersive AR experience brings ANZAC history to life!

Check out our newest augmented reality project, created as a collaborative passion project with military historians Patrick Bronte and Christopher Pugsley.
In the app, students can explore battlefields, and hidden tunnels, and witness historic events up close. It's an awesome tool for educators everywhere, and we can't wait for you to try it out!

It’s that time to down tools and get into the holiday spirit with plenty of sun, sand and surf.

We’ve been lucky to make it to the end of the year.
But it hasn’t been that way for everyone including people you might otherwise think would be okay like hospo, musicians and small retail owners.

To help we are donating money to BBM and Pātaka Kai - two food banks doing great work in the community.
