Donovan Bixley (@donovan_bixley) takes over @littlemoabooks: Day 2
“I’ve created over 130 books published all over the world, and many of my most popular books are with my wonderful publishers Little Moa Books Aotearoa.
I like to make books that are full of colour and energy with engaging characters. My philosophy is that you never know what is going to send a child off on their own little voyage of discovery – so I include lots of things for young readers to find that keep them coming back to my books again and again.
This week on my takeover of Little Moa Books’ Instagram I’ll be sharing what I do when I research and write a book like my latest non-fiction title Buzzz, Native Bugs of Aotearoa. I’ll also be taking about my illustration process. I’ll read you some of the amazing facts behind Aotearoa’s native creepy crawlies, and I’ll be answering your most burning questions about Donovan Bixley books.
So ask away and make sure you tune in to Little Moa Books and Donovan Bixley on Instagram every day this week.”
