We are looking to hire a true passionate DANCE TEACHER to lead dance classes for individuals and groups! We are aimed to teach and train a dynamic group of beginners, with a range of different techniques and dance styles. The teacher shall also create a group dance performance, with amazing choreography which requires knowledge about how the process functions.

Dancing can be enjoyed for pleasure and the expression of feeling, while choreograph movement is to ‘create a work of art’, showing the composer’s and team’s intention to communicate a theme or emotion. You will be a pioneer in this field in the district of Sindhupalchok: we have the goal to form the first Dance Company of the area! If you love dance, you like challenges, if enjoy working with people of all ages, gender and ethnicity, we encourage you to apply!

The “School of Social Development” is aimed to offer high-quality education in rural areas, where children have a great hidden potential: we work to unleash their talent, making them leaders and innovators of the modern world. Our goal to expand quality education in the rural areas with an innovative approach is unique.

Responsibilities:
• Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.
• Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
• Choreograph routines and select music for recitals and concerts.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Dance or qualification from an accredited college or academy.
• Previous teaching experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, driven, creative, and ambitious.
• Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
• Ability to teach Classical and Contemporary dance. Bollywood dance also much appreciated.

Salary commensurate with experience.
