We finally have a proper set up of virtual production in our film studio @oslofilmstudio 🎥 And here is how we did it!
With the help from @thenerdforge @williamfaucher.vfx and @vp_nordic we created this fantasy scene using Unreal and our Norxe projector. With the Vive trackers we could perfectly track our camera movements to correspond with the background. See the full YouTube video to see all the tricks we used✨
The teaser we made for @epidemicsound is out now 💿 The debut album ‘’Adore Me’’ by @maybe.mp3 came out last week, and we made this teaser highlighting four of the songs on the album✨ We made a behind the scenes video showing how we created this teaser, check it out on the Andyax Youtube channel!
VJUS SHOWREEL
Our brand new showreel is here🔥 Here is some of the projects we’ve made recently. We love to challenge ourselves when making films, and this has resulted in some amazing projects. Ranging from fiction, to commercials, music videos and much more, we have produced a variety of content for companies all over the world. We are looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring!
New work for Atea ✨ We showcased how they used AI and 3D printing to make a bust in honor of IT-consultants and their work. Check out the full video on our website!
We always want to test new technology and expand our ways of making films, and virtual production seems to be the next step in the business. We wanted to test it out for ourselves and used our Norxe projector to project our image on the cyclorama wall. By adding the trackers from Vive we can track our camera movements, and have it correspond with our 3D rendered background. VFX artist William Faucher came by to help us out with Unreal Engine, and create our virtual landscape. See the full Youtube video on the Andyax channel!
New work for Seaweed Solutions 🌊 We love work that includes nature and technology, and this project brought a mix of both. Click the link in our bio and visit our website to see the full video!
Happy new year from the team at VJUS🎊 Here are some of our projects and highlights from this past year. 2022 has brought a lot of changes for us, by moving to a new office, expanding the team and taking on bigger and bigger projects. Thanks to everyone we have worked with so far, We are so excited to see what the next year will bring🕺
This month VJUS is celebrating 5 years✨ From being a group of boys with big dreams in a closet-like office, we are now a full fledged production company with the coolest film studio in the centre of Oslo. During these past years we have gotten to work with big clients on some amazing projects, and also challenged ourselves in the process. We are more motivated than ever, and are very excited to see what the next 5 years will bring🕺
Here’s some more of the fun we were up to in Cape Town✨ We have documented our whole trip in two YouTube videos and the second one just dropped yesterday. In this new video you can hear our thoughts on the new Nikon Z9 camera and how we used it for documentary and travel filming. Also check out our previous video where we experimented with the Insta360 RS camera, and also get to know the crew on a more personal level. See the videos on the Andyax YouTube channel!
Creating the Perfect Film Production House | Making a Film Company S3E2
We found our dream office
Insta360 northern lights
Insta360 asked Morten Rustad if he could shoot timelapses of the northern lights for the launch of their new 360 camera✨ The footage is being used in their promotional campaign and Morten made a YouTube video documenting the whole trip. He spent a week driving from Oslo, to Finland, northern Norway and back home again. You can see the whole video on Morten’s YouTube channel🎬
We got the new DJI RS3 gimbal, and what better way to put it to the test than to run around in the woods🌳We shot an adventure film together with @jonathan_tufvesson and you can see behind the scenes in latest video on the Andyax YouTube channel🎬
We made a music video for Sondrey’s new song ‘For my people’, directed and shot by Mathias✨ We got to use the BOLT High-speed camera robot for the first time, and we also made it rain inside the studio. With the BOLT we wanted a unique shot that created a feeling of energy and urgency that matches the song and message. Both the rain and using the BOLT was completely new to us, but it was a fun challenge to make it work. Swipe to see behind the scenes of the Bolt in action. The music video is out now on YouTube!
Special thanks to High and low for letting us use their studio and equipment and Fikseren for helping us with the rain.
The Nordic region's largest art museum Nasjonalmuseet is opening tomorrow, and we made the promo videos! In the series you can see five norwegian profiles as they get a tour of the new museum, and discover everything from paintings, sculptures, fashion, vases, installations, collectors items and everything in between. Here’s a small peek at what you can expect from the full episodes! All five episodes are being released on Nasjonalmuseet on YouTube, Facebook and on T-We 🏛
Trigger Oslo
We were one of few companies in the world to be able to make a video about the new Panasonic camera, the Lumix GH6, before launch! We have frequently used their previous models in our early careers. This time, we tested the camera as a solo shooter camera and even in a production for a client using cine lenses. If you want to see our full review of this camera and its new upgrades, you can watch the latest video on the Andyax channel.
Testing cine lenses
We got some new cine lenses! What better way to put them to the test than to go ice skating? Our own editor volunteered to be the subject for this test⛸
Check out our new youtube video on the Andyax channel to see our review and thoughts on the lenses and if you should consider getting them.

We’re no strangers to cold weather and harsh conditions! Last year we travelled to Svalbard for a shoot, and despite the low temperatures we had a lot fun filming this commercial. You can see the whole video on our website❄️
Filming in Ice Cold Mountains
Here is part 2 of our trip to the mountains🏔
The locations were so important in this shoot, and we were so happy with how they turned out. Especially the scenes from the abandoned cabin got elevated by having the perfect location. Not to mention Jonathan Tufvesson who did a great job embodying the character!
See how it all came together and how we pulled through despite the harsh and cold conditions.
We Made a Film Production Van | Making a Film Company S2E7
Snow, wind, freezing temperatures and frosted gear ❄️🎥
We struggled through natures forces to shoot a short film in the mountains. For the night scenes we lit up the forest using the power from our new film production van, and we can even edit our 8K footage on the go from the van's editing suite.
You can see the whole process of how we built the van, how we made this short film in the freezing cold, and much more, in our latest YouTube video on Andyax! And next week you can see part two where we show even more of the behind the scenes from this shoot, so stay tuned!
In between projects we like to have some fun and experiment with different film techniques. This time Mathias wanted to make a coffee commercial in our studio!

We combined live action and animation, made fantasy scenes for Adobe and travelled across Norway with Nasjonalmuseet. Here’s a recap of what we made in 2021!
It can be scary to take creative risks, but by doing so the result can be something unique and something that engages the audience. This has been some of our driving force ever since we started Vjus in 2017.
In our project with Den Kulturelle Skolesekken we combined animation and live action by combining an animated character with the rest of the cast, aka Space Jam 1996. We made a fantasy inspired intro for our video with Adobe where we interviewed Nerdforge about their creative process. And in the videos we made for Red Cross we got to dig a little deeper and created videos about youth, bullying and loneliness. This is only a small part of the over 50 videos and films we produced this year.
We want to thank everyone that has been both in front of and behind the camera, you know who you are. And we want to thank all our clients who have believed in us and our way of producing films. We are very excited to continue this journey into 2022!✨
We travelled all across Norway with Nasjonalmuseet to film their art exhibitions for their campaign ''Kunsten kommer hjem''🇳🇴 Last week Nasjonalmuseet and Trigger won silver in the Content Marketing Awards for this project! This has been an exciting collaboration and we congratulate them on this achievement. Here are some shots from the films we have made for them, and you can see more by clicking the link in our bio!
Video for Adobe MAX
We made a video for Adobe MAX with Nerdforge 🔮⚔️
The video showcases Nerdforge’s creative process of making fantasy inspired props, books, costumes and much more! The video was made as a part of the Adobe MAX conference, and you can check out the full video on our website https://www.vjus.no/project/adobe-max-nerdforge/
Last week Oppdrift presented the innovation grant, and the focus was innovation in ocean and marine resources. The grant is 1 million NOK and the purpose is to invest in green inovation that fights global warming. We are proud collaborators and made the video of the award ceremony, in addition to being a part of the prize. We look forward to help the winner @seaweed_solutions with video content!
