Through the works of artists such as Tania Bruguera, Arshile Gorky, Lubaina Himid, and Mona Hatoum, "Look Again: Strangers" offers a poignant glimpse into the struggles and humanity of those seeking refuge in strange lands.

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the 2023 Investigative Journalism for Europe Impact Award ( ) for our investigation documenting the plight of African migrants in Europe, some of them minors, who are accused and charged with people-smuggling often on weak evidence and unreliable witnesses.

Congrats to the team behind this investigation: Ismail Einashe, Cecilia Ferrara, Rosa Meneses, Angela Gennaro, Kate Stanworth Photography, Geesje van Haren and Monica Lam.

And thanks to the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom ECPMF, European Journalism Centre (EJC) and the International Press Institute.
