Our project won a Webby Award! An immersive experience merging the book “Homage to Humanity” with Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. Scopic created the 360 videos in the winning app and pitched the idea at Fonk to create an AR layer on top of the stunning art of Jimmy Nelson: In the first step, people learn about a culture by scanning images in the book to view video material that is hidden behind every photo.

Not just the photo's in the book can be scanned with the app. Users of the app can also scan Jimmy's pictures in museums, on their computer or in magazines.
