Deliverance from DEMONIC POLLUTION

SCRIPTURES: Zechariah 3:1-5; Deuteronomy 19-21; Matthew 13:25.

INTRODUCTION

The problem of pollution is very serious as far as God is concerned. When a person is polluted spiritually God turns His face away from such a person, until the person is cleaned up. This is what happened to Joshua the High Priest in our scripture reading in Zechariah 3:1-5.

He was spiritually polluted and as a result could not stand in God’s presence until the angel of God took off his polluted clothes. Pollution also gives the devil a legal ground, an open door, to come in to kill, steal, and destroy.

Pollution is the physical or spiritual contamination of a person, a thing, or a place. A name, destiny, marriage, a business, a career, and even a ministry can be polluted. Body organs can be polluted also.

Cities , compound and street can be polluted like the city of Jericho was before the prophet Elisha cleaned it up. 2 Kings 2:19-22.

WHAT IS POLLUTION?
Pollution is:

1. Spiritual contamination
2. To poison
3. To defile
4. To Corrupt
5. To adulterate
6. To make impure
7. To stain
8. To render useless
9. To infect
10. To make dirty
11. To taint
12. To introduce strange objects, spirits, personalities into the human spirit, soul, and body. Psalm 18:44-45
13. To weaken
14. To corrupt. That is to change from God’s original state, purpose, use, or way.

WHY POLLUTION?

1. To separate a person from God.

3. To alter the original purpose for which God created a person or thing.
4. To plant problems and afflictions in people’s lives. He could plant cancer, insanity, or fibroid. Matthew 13:25.
5. To hinder and block prayers.
6. To weaken a person spiritually.

7. To waste colorful destinies.
8. To abort breakthroughs.
9. To introduce uncontrollable urges such as sexual immorality through dog bites in the dream.
10. To oppress.

MESSAGE TOPIC: BASIS FOR DIVINE HEALING

WHAT IS DIVINE HEALING?

Divine healing is the restoration of the body to the state of health and vitality by the Power of God

Divine healing is the recovery of the body from the state of ill health or disease by the Power of God

Divine healing is the repair of damaged system or organ by the Power of God

DIMENSIONS OF DIVINE HEALING:

The reversal of disease process (Acts 10:38)

The rebuke and release of afflicting spirits (Acts 10:38; Luke 4:38-39)

The repair of damaged body parts (John 4:52)

The replacement of destroyed body parts (Matt. 15:30-31)

Restoration to original state (2Kings 5:14)

THE CAUSES OF ILL HEALTH:

Enemy attack (afflictions or oppressions) (Acts 10:38: Luke 4:38-39; Ps. 107:20)
Sinful activity (Ps. 107:17; 119:67; 103:1-3; Mark 2:5; Jam. 5:14-16)

Personal negligence or carelessness (Ps. 107:17; Acts 27:34)
When natural laws are broken, the consequence can be ill health. For example, when people neglect hygienic practices it can bring ill health.

Negative emotion (Prov. 17:22; 14:30; Heb. 12:15)
The state of your mind affects the state of your health.

Inherited liabilities (Parental/ancestral transfers) (1Pet. 1:18; Gen. 29:31; 25:21; 11:30; Gal. 3:13-14)

THE BASIS FOR DIVINE HEALING:

God the Father identifies Himself as the Physician of His people (Ex. 15:26)

God the Father promised His people restoration for their health as often as it would be needed (Ps. 103:1-3; 107:20; Jer. 30:17)

The Master Jesus is identified as the Healer (Heb. 13:8; Acts 10:38; Matt. 14:14)

The Holy Spirit is identified as Channel of Divine healing (Acts 10:38; Mark 6:13; 1Sam. 16:13)

The church leaders have a God-given responsibility for the healing of the sick in Church (Jam. 5:14-15)

CONCLUSION:

Divine healing is both a possibility and a reality today

Every avoidable cause of ill health must be avoided for the sustenance of healing and health

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?

God does it when it is beyond feasibility and possibility in order for the praise to be mega!
To reveal the limitations of human ability, wisdom or resources
To multiply the joy and the fulfilment of His people
The end of a long battle brings strong joy
When the battle is tough, the victory is sweet!
To bury the enemy in surprise
There are those who cannot stand your rise but God will bury them in surprise
