Divine Worship Service | Sermon Theme: SIGNS OF THE ENDTIME Text: Matthew 24:3-22 Ministering: Pastor Mfon A. Okon The day of the second coming of Christ is drawing near. The signs that Christ spoke of are already glaring and visible. Jesus has been speaking to His church and is still speaking, telling us to be wary of the times and watchful for His time is near. He admonishes us to hold fast unto the profession of our faith. Know Christ for yourself and have a personal relationship with Him. Don't follow Christ because of someone. The current situations and conditions around us are only for the testing of our faith. We should not because of tribulations forsake and deny God. Nothing should separate us from the love of God. The Signs of the Endtime-Matt. 24:3-22 ● False prophets and deceptive teachings. ● Wars and nations rising against each other. ● Earthquakes and catastrophic events ● Famines and hardship in the world. ● Persecutions and betrayals. ● Love of many will wax cold. ● Abomination in Holy Places. ● Great tribulation like never have been and will ever be. ● The Gospel shall be preached to all nations. But there is hope for the elect and the remnants of God. Christ has given us a way out. He instructs and encourages us; vs 17; "let them which are in Judea flea into the mountains". This means we should seek God's face in these times and spend time in his presence. vs 18; "Let him who is on the house top not come down to take anything"-this means as you have been saved, remain saved. Do not draw back to be entangled with evil. Stay in the faith, continue doing good, live right and don't give up on God. He that shall endure to the end shall be saved. Be ready and vigilant for the Lord's day is coming. Christ assures us in Matt.24:22-the days of affliction shall be shortened for the sake of the elect. #DivineWorshipService #TACNService #TACNUyoFieldTemple
