ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Amen!!!

07/08/2024

If I am a Governor, there is no need to fight my predecessor in office. He has nothing to lose. I will only focus on how to outshine him with incredible performance and unprecedented achievements to correct the wrongs of his administration. After politics, there is another world. Our life will not end in politics and our days on earth are unknown.

For the messengers, let me remind you once again, that I have once been used to fight someone via the social media, and he was later invited and given huge sum of money in my presence which I have never received from him since the years of serving him.

And a man he wanted me to attack online for challenging him which I tactically and skilfully avoided has become my destiny helper till date.

But in all, pray to God to give you the discerning spirit to know when the environment is no longer favourable and while leaving, leave silently and leave the rest to God.

As young and upcoming leaders with prospects, let's apply wisdom in everything we do.

And remember, you don't need to "kill" to prove loyalty. A boss who loves you and is interested in your growth and development will not stress and drain you. Rather, he will help explore the potentials in you and give you the enabling environment to thrive successfully.

Finally, don't bite the finger that fed you when others were giving excuses. But the finger does not include those that always say,"I had plans for him", after you might have left.

May God help all men to be more than CONQUERORS in all their life endeavours and bless all the men and women that support our dreams and aspirations.

Together, we will make a better, successful and more prosperous society.

A GOOD TIME WITH THE DEPUTY GOVERNOR

Today, I had the privilege of meeting with the number 2 citizen and the Deputy Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu , in his office , Government House, Umuahia.

Before his sojourn into politics, His Excellency has made tremendous impact in Ohafia through his foundation, MAKE OHAFIA GREAT AGAIN, MOGA, which he used to carry out medical outreaches and free eye tests for Ohafians, distribution of school desks and provision of modern educational materials to selected schools in Ohafia, payment of grants and scholarships for students in different institutions of higher learning , among other impactful projects that's still standing the test of time since 2016.

Through my big brother, Emeka Mannic who was among the coordinators of His Excellency's humanitarian interventions for the people of Ohafia under the auspices of his foundation, I was among the volunteers who were at the forefront of ensuring the success and coordination of his foundation outreaches, Programmes and activities.

He is accessible, humble, responsive, kindhearted, and a man filled with wisdom.

Thank you His Excellency for the privilege given to me to interface with you, and I am grateful for your positive response and huge magnanimity.

May God's grace, strength, and wisdom never depart from you even as you continue to render selfless service to humanity, and Abia at large.

POSING WITH THE UDUMAEZE 111 OF LOKPANTA IN UMUNNEOCHI

Do you know that OHAFIA has a common ancestral origin with UMUCHIEZE in Umunneochi LGA of Abia State?

The Umuchieze community is made up of Lokpaukwu, Lokpanta, Lekwesi and Leru.

The traditional ruler of LOKPANTA is addressed as UDUMAEZE while the overall traditional ruler, in Ohafia, is also addressed as UDUMAEZE who lives in Elu Ohafia.

On April 16, 2922, I drank extensively from the wealth of experience of the Traditional Ruler of Lokpanta Ancient Kingdom, in Umunneochi LGA of Abia State, HRH, EZE IFEANYI EKE, UDUMAEZE 111 OF LOKPANTA as I accompanied the then PDP House of Assembly hopeful for Umunneochi State Constituency, Chief Ebere Nwankwo Esq. on a consultative visit at the palatial home of the revered traditional ruler.

HRH Eze Eke is a historian who is naturally endowed with wisdom and oratorical prowess; a walking encyclopedia who is deeply and mystically grounded in traditional, political, cultural, religious and socioeconomic events.
He is a fascinating storyteller and entertainer who mixes joviality with the realities of life.

Indeed, UDUMAEZE OHAFIA AND UMUCHIEZE are blessed.

NIGERIA SHOULD OUTGROW THE ERA OF A IS FOR APPLE AND REVIEW HER EDUCATION CURRICULUM

It's high time Nigeria should review its education curriculum to meet up with global technological advancements.

Some of the courses we read are not relevant and won't even be needed in the global market when you start working especially in a firm that is related to your field of study.

I once asked a banker who studied Accountancy if he was applying all those quadratic and simultaneous equations, integers, algebra, further mathematics, finding X and other topics he learnt in mathematics in his daily work description in the bank. I told him the only topics in mathematics that he is making use of are addition, subtraction and multiplication.

Sometimes, when you look at the subject combinations for a course, you will be tempted to ask what an English and Linguistics student will be doing with Mathematics as maybe a borrowed course, whereas he needs to focus on all the literary courses that will enhance his knowledge and make him marketable in the global market.

When our teachers and lecturers are still asking students to draw grasshoppers and other insects, foreign countries are busy building experimental laboratories where their students do more practicals than mere drawing.

Universities and Polytechnics are where students gain the requisite knowledge required to be employable with practical experience in the course of study. But in Nigeria, our case is different.

In our higher institutions, lecturers wouldn't allow you to practice with sensitive instruments. If they want to teach you about the working principle of some of the high-tech and sensitive instruments used in the laboratory for water and soil testing, including advanced disease detection and analysis, the lecturer would draw the instruments on the board and tell you, "let's assume you put this soil sample in the inlet of the instrument",...without even knowing how the instrument looks like.

And if you ask why they can't allow students to practice with the instruments, they will tell you it's very expensive and they don't want you to spoil it. Then If that's the case, why did you buy it? Is it just for fancy? And why did I pay school fees to come and learn?

Some subject combinations are not relevant for a particular course and imagine where someone will just have to complete 13-15 courses in a semester. Whereas, I learnt that overseas, you may just have to do 1-2 courses that are related to your course of study per semester.

Nigeria should rise to the occasion and start harvesting talents at the young age of a child and channel him or her to the institution where his or her potential will be harnessed for the benefit and academic growth of the country.

The era of A is for Apple and take your drawing and draw spider and a rat has gone.
