The move is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen security and reduce youth unemployment. The recruitments will be distributed as follows:
1. Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
5,150 personnel will be recruited.
2. Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS)
10,000 personnel will be recruited.
3. Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
10,000 personnel will be recruited.
4. Federal Fire Service (FFS)
5,000 personnel will be recruited.
5. Joint Secretariat of Security Agencies: (Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board - CDCFISB)
They will also employ 209 staff.
