In this extract of the Almighty's Shadow cartoon we are working on, there is a continuity error.
In movies, a scene usually has many shots. The opening shot could be a wide shot that shows the entire characters in the scene and a clear view of their environment(where they are). Then there could be another camera taking another shot, say, a medium shot. The shots are then creatively combined during editing.
Sometimes the characters repeat the same action for another shot when there is only one camera or when it's not possible to take two or more shots simultaneously.
Props or costumes could have been removed or moved from their initial place before a second shot is taken. If it's not repositioned or placed back before taking the next shot, there would be a continuity error.
Some continuity errors can't be fixed in editing. It can be very obvious and embarrassing. If it's not noticed and fixed during production, it would be the technical issues that can ruin a production. In some cases, you have to reshoot that scene to fix the error.
After animating and exporting a particular part/shot in this scene, I realized a continuity error.
