SURVIVING AS A CREATIVE IN NIGERIA
Living in Nigeria has its spec, being a Creative in Nigeria is a whole different story. Over the first 3 months in 2022, we had the series “Surviving as a Creative in Nigeria” in our Cre8iveConnect and relevant issues were discussed.
In January, we began with “Leveraging With Social Media” and we got pointer on scaling with social media, with real life examples from who has grown his modeling agency with Social media getting over 50% of his students from social media. Social media being a mobile office and a portfolio for people to see your work, reach a wider audience and gain accessibility to areas beyond your locality.
The had us discussing the topic “How To Grow Your Community” with being a guest cre8ive. A community encourages you and spurs you to growth. Growing a community requires dedication; it is also a way of providing mentorship, expanding your scope of influence and giving back to the society.
We ended the first quarter, , with the topic “Spotting Opportunities” with Isaiah Samuel Nnanna . This topic is key because, it is one thing to be a creative, it is another to get opportunities that put you in the right spot to express your creativity.
While leveraging with social media gives you a wider reach, growing your community enables your convert this audience to people who are committed to you and with the eye to spot opportunities you will be able to get better and bigger platforms.
