Growing up as kids, when we fail to do our assignment, our teacher will first ask the reason for not doing the assignment, trust every Nigeria child, we all have a perfect EXCUSE to give.

However, as we grow we are subconsciously reminded that the world of life plays no card of excuse.

Irrespective of your sincere and honest excuse, Life will sort a way to punish you for every failed assignment.

There is an expendable useful energy we exude when we are FOCUSED.

ANYBODY CAN TALK

Anybody can talk including a 6 months child. But not everyone can speak even at 60 years.

Public speaking is beyond talking, it is a SKILL. Having few social media videos you posted online does not make you a public speaker; he takes a lot becoming one.

One of the ways you identify a good public speaker is:

1. Ability to start and hold conversation for more than 2 hours

2. Ability to talk on any subject matter; by this I mean delivery an impromptu speech with poise and excellence.

There are others but these two top the list for me.

There is an adage that says, "a solider do not learn how to shoot the gun on the battle Field, he learns to do that even before the battle began unless he risk losing his life."

One of the ways to help your public speaking journey is by reading books and practicing what you have read by actually SPEAKING.

Recently, I observed I have so much grown especially speaking in public (still feel nervous some times), but count down to 5 years ago, it was not so. I am that guy who couldn't give a one minute opening prayer during an open meeting.

One thing that helped me and still helping me is READING. I read everyday; I am a product of many books (history books, journals, manufacturing books, agriculture, spiritual books, business books, motivational books etc).

Developing a healthy reading culture help increase your "WORD BANK" and expand your horizon of knowledge. I can't emphasize reading enough. Please, reading if you wanna be a great public speaker.

I have a thousand and one word to talk on this subject matter but for now, digest this one.

STOP WAITING, START YOUR CONTENT CREATION JOURNEY TODAY...

Can I be honest with you? If you are waiting to get everything before you get started, you can never start anything.

Recently, a friend came to my room and she was wondering the place I use in shooting my videos (hehehe). She couldn't find it.

Since I can't afford a professional studio for now, I turn my room into a mini-studio; I have to shift couple of things before shooting my video if I am using indoor.

Likewise the phone I use (NOT even an iphone).

However, I have learnt the magic of creating a stunning video via colour grading, camera angles and the techniques of shooting a good video.

Like Steve Harris will always say, "It is not what you don't have that is limiting you; it is what you have but you don't use."

I'll add by saying, "...what you have but you don't know how to use."

Content creation is a serious hard work because you have to be constantly thinking, documenting down ideas, stories, plans, buying gadgets, clothes, visiting locations, etc....

Last week thursday, I met a lady who happens to be dance content Creator. I checked her TikTok followers and it is almost fifty thousand (50,000). I was amazed.

We got into more conversations and I realized she has spent the last one month in different hotels just simply because she wanna shoot her videos using a quality location.

Then again, I was very impressed; going all her way just to create dance content. That really inspired me.

Back to me message, JUST START with what you have. It can be your small android phone, your room, your laptop, two friends, few clothes, little knowledge of presentation, etc.... just start with what you have.

Don't be limited by what you don't have.

Strength comes as you work; more materials come as you begin to create more content.

The most interesting part is, you get better the more you engage in creating more. Growths actually comes by doing NOT waiting.

We don't measure growth by waiting, we measure growth by moving.

Never allow the way you speak or how you will sound limit you from starting because as you speak, you improve.

GRACE, WISDOM AND EXCELLENCE

I am inspired this morning to talk to just one gentleman on Facebook.

While you complain of not having enough money to pay your bills and you are thinking of changing your career line, my question is WHY?

If you want to change a career line because you feel it is time to MOVE UP and expand your space, then it is totally fine.

But, if you are changing a career line simply because you are not having enough money in what you are currently doing, please I would like you to do another evaluation.

Sometimes, it is not what you are doing that is keeping you small, it might just be HOW you are doing it and the elements of transition you are not paying attention to.

I am writing all these because I am inspired to, so ignore the person and learn from the letters.

You grab? Let's move...

There are such things called GRACE, WISDOM AND EXCELLENCE.

While I can simply define Grace in my own term or consult the Dictionary for an aligned meaning, I would like you to privately chat my awesome Teacher Ayeka for a better definition of GRACE.

Let no man deceive you, there is such thing called GRACE.

Because how can you explain within the space of 1,460 days, a man who knows little or nothing about publishing or even have an excellent writing skill or even have large followers.

The most astonishment part is, all his books are all electronical but today he his happily married, with a child, and living in a fully furnished house owned by him.

You won't understand until you see Pastor Banjo 2020.

What is Wisdom? In a simple terms, Wisdom is the ability to apply Knowledge RIGHTLY.

Excellence is the state of being distinct and highest form of quality.

See, I have seen Photographers who are millionaires while many others stay months without having any gig.

Before my very eyes my teacher tunred a millionaire just writing ebooks. I was with him during some fasting days when he had just cucumber and groundnut (hehehe). I know wetin I dey talk shar. This story I'll keep for a more appropriate day.

I have so much to share here but I need to run off, need to attending a very important meeting and I am already running late.

But I pray the Spirit open your understanding to see what I am trying to say.

Human beings by default are reckless people; they pay less attention to the management and care of another man's property.

I know of few people who want to start commercial transportation business but for the fear of mismanagement, they are holding back.

I won't blame them, because I have seen people damage things they could not afford.

Peter who was my friend bought a car for a commercial purpose and gave it to a man who was desperately in need of a driving job to bring an agreed returns every weekend.

Peter handed the clean Audi car to Mr. Femi on February 20, 2021. By November 20, 2021, I could not recognize the same Audi car (badly damaged).

There are certain wealthy men or an average rich person who want to invest in hospitality business, Health Care Business etc.... but the only thing holding them back is TRUST. They lack trusted people around them.

Dear Wealthy Man, You need a good Manager. A good Manager will not only help manage your property but see that it is multiplied.

A good Manager takes care of your property like it's own. He pays attention to the tiniest of detail.

Maybe your business is stagnanted for a while because you lack this person I am describing.

Think about it.

A company is a legal entity formed by a group of individuals to engage in and operate business with the goal to make profit.

You don't necessary have to be Dangote group or Genesis Group to become a company.

Three people can pull resources together with a quality product and fast delivery to make up a company.

If you run a company regardless of the strength of your staff, you need to key people:

2. A Videographer

It is called social media for a reason.

I believe the first intent of the invention of social media was to connect with friends and meet new people whom you can SHARE and interact with.

One of the ways to connect with people especially on social media is by "COMMENTING" on their posts.

By this, I mean make a valuable input or simply complimenting something you feel is cool about them at the moment.

He who wants be friends with others must first show himself friendly.

GREAT LEARNING TIME

It was a wholesome time on Sunday with amazing people with Mr. Segun Emmanuel Olumuyiwa and his team for putting together such a phenomenal Master Class tailored to grow business people and much more.

I'll say it is the first of it's Kind within the South South Region of Nigeria.

One thing I enjoyed about the class was the brevity and specificity of topic delivery.

Both Host and Facilitors were phenomenal with great humor.

If I didn't learn much, I learnt about "SPEED TEST" which is very crucial for me as a Brand Media Professional and one who run Social media services for private and small business owners.

Much more, I loved the energy in the room; hungry people who came to learn and CONNECT.

It was a phenomenal time.

Thank You Mr. Segun Emmanuel Olumuyiwa for birthing such vision to help us growing in our endeavors.

We are grateful for the class so far.

HENRY, WHICH SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM IS BEST FOR VIDEO CONTENT?

In my opinion, TikTok is best for video content especially short videos.

Unlike Facebook or any other social media platform, TikTok Algorithm assist the Creator by helping show his content to more people within 48hours of uploading without much of his effort.

This is not the case with YouTube for example, the stakes are higher when it comes to YouTube video content. Unless you already have a good number of subscribers, you'll need to do more to get people view your content.

However, it all comes down to your audience and what exactly you are targeting.

As a product or service business person whose target is for luxury and the likes of wealthy people, you may want to consider short Instagram video content.

In conclusion, every social media platform has it's own role and function differently.

They were created with specificity and purpose in mind, just know what you want and choose a suitable platform to help in sharing your message.
