Most indigenes of this town just like Ika people bear hybrid names that most often could just jolly well pass as EDO because of their names like Nduka Irabor, Jim Ovia, Omorogie Nwawanne, Collins Edumaruse etc

18) Ikot Udo Ika in Ika Local Government area of Akwa Ibom is an Igbo community.

BENUE STATE
19)The Igbos in Benue State particularly those in Ado, Oju, Obi and Okpoku LGAs of the state were in existence before the advent of Christian religion in Nigeria.
The Igbo found in Benue are: Umuezeokoha, Umuezeoka, Oriuzor, Umuoghara, Amaekka and Amaezekwe all in Ezza communities, Izzi, Ezzamgbo and Effium, these are the people who would have been in present-day Ebonyi State but due to the fact that the Nigerian government then carved them into Benue in order to suppress the population of the East. Apart from the Ezza-speaking clan, particularly the people of Umuezeokoha that has over 300 villages, if you are to calculate the number of Igbo-speaking villages in Benue State, outside Umuezeokaoha, you would be talking altogether about over 600 villages. Three of the biggest markets in Benue are all in the Igbo-speaking part.
The markets are Inikiri Ichari, Iddah, Iduokpe.
There are also some Igbo speaking Idoma towns in Benue State.

KOGI STATE
20) THE indigenouse Igbo-speaking communities in Kogi state especially in Ibaji and Igalamela/Odolu LGAs are Eke Avurugo community,such as Nwajala, Umuoye, Ubulie-Umuez, ozara, and umuoye and many more.

The current Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, also told us that his kingdom was initially conquered by the Igbo (PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THAT HE WAS NOT REFERRING TO THE UGBO OF ONDO STATE)until they were rescued by Moremi and he also spoke of an aboriginal Igbo community that still exist in ILE Ife to this day.

The Ugbo people of Ondo State have the same Obatala linkage with the Aborigines of Ile Ife. Note: there are several Igbo towns in present-day Igboland that are called Ugbo.

For instance, you have Ugbodu in Delta State, and Ugbo in Enugu State, just to mention a few.

BREAKING NEWS: "Oxford University Cancels Invitation Of Imo State Administrator Hope Uzodinma."-

We in UmuIgboNiile, are getting report that Oxford University has cancelled the invitation of the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma to an event organised by Oxford University, Uzodimma is expected to speak at the event.

The great IPOB UK coordinator this afternoon stated that the organisers has informed them that the invitation has been withdrawn, although showing displeasure with the information, the UK coordinator said they will return to the invent on Saturday to confirm if what the organiser told them. Another comrade also confirmed from the list of the invitees that the Governor’s name has been deleted.

The festival, organised by the Oxford-based James Currey Society, honours contributions to the development of African literature made by Currey. Currey co-founded the African Writers Series with the late Chinua Achebe, under whose auspices an Imo State indigene, Flora Nwapa’s ‘Efuru’ was published, in 1966, making her the first African female novelist to be published in English globally.

The great IPOB accused the administrator/ governor and the Nigerian government of conspiring to kill Biafrans, insisting that the governor is not worthy to attend the event scheduled for September.

The great IPOB in the statement said the invitation to the Uzodinma “is not only shameful but a spite on the grave of the foremost Biafra heroic writer Professor Chinua Achebe who was an associate of Professor James Currey in whose honor the event is being held."

UPDATE ON OUR ROUTINE VISIT TO OUR INDEFATIGABLE CLIENT - ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES (DSS) ABUJA, TODAY, BEING THE 1ST DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2022:

The Court-Ordered routine visit to our indefatigable Client - Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was conducted today at the DSS Headquarters, Abuja, where Onyendu is still being held in solitary confinement.

The visit was still conducted today in strict adherence to the new DSS protocol, introduced to distort the status quo.

Onyendu was comprehensively briefed on the holistic legal approach being adopted to secure his unconditional release. All "t’s" have been crossed and "i’s" dotted, thereby setting the stage ripe for the main business of the 11th day of October, 2022, to proceed unhindered. We are doing all that is legally permissible to ensure that the outing will be recorded as a fruitful one.

Onyendu is profoundly enthused by the line of actions as itemized towards achieving the desired and best result, which he classified as top notch. We wish to reiterate that confining Onyendu in a solitary space is no doubt, a grave infraction of his rights, and an established act of torture clearly spelt out under our laws, and which violation is no doubt aimed at breaking his spirit.

Nonetheless, Onyendu remains very strong in his conviction as he has defied every strategy adopted by the state to break him. He is resolute and uncompromisingly firm. Self determination is a right recognised under our laws and other international laws and instruments.

Onyendu was particularly enthused after he was fully briefed on the news of the release of Mama Biafra. He could not hold his excitement on hearing the long awaited news. He thanked me in particular, and my legal team for our outstanding professionalism that has always guided our strategy towards rescuing UmuChineke detained in various facilities of the Nigerian Security Agencies.

Our new methodology, which will always remain discrete is a compelling one and result oriented, and Onyendu encouraged us to keep up the good work. Now that Mama Biafra has been released pursuant to an application for the enforcement of her fundamental rights I had earlier filed on her behalf, we shall continue with the suit to ensure that she is adequately compensated for the period of time she was unlawfully detained in solitary confinement.

We wish to assure Umuchineke that we are not leaving any stone unturned towards ensuring that all those still languishing in custody are released. Idara Gold and others are in our top priority, as our team are aggressively pursuing their release. Please be assured that it shall all end in Praise, UmuChineke.
