The Lagos State Police Command has said the autopsy report of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, conducted two months ago has not been given to them.

Today, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, makes it two months since the co**se of the late Mohbad was exhumed and an autopsy commenced to unravel the cause of the death of the singer.

Mohbad’s death on September 12 sparked controversies in Nigeria and beyond which prompted the police to set up an investigative team to determine what led to the singer’s demise.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, had tweeted in September that an “autopsy has been concluded” and the police were “awaiting result.”

When asked by one of our correspondents on Monday on the release of Mohbad’s autopsy report, Hundeyin disclosed that the command had yet to get the report officially.

Hundeyin said, “The autopsy report has not been given to us. Some people have been carrying rumours that it’s ready. It’s one thing for it to be ready, it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially – that we would receive and sign a copy that we have received it. So, we don’t work with rumours, we work with facts.”

'Nigerians Please help me. Immediately the police conducted an autopsy on Mohbad's body, they have released the bodv for burial but the father insisted that the body should still remain with them. I begged him passionately to let us lay the boy to rest but he refused. Last week I went to the commissioner of police and he scolded me that’s why have we not gone to take Mohbad's body that he is just lying there in the morgue. Mothers please fight for me. It is Mohbad's dad that has refused to let my son be buried. The police have said we should come and take the body since the second day of the autopsy. Everything the dad is saying to the media, God will judge him. Some people are using Mohbad's case to make money on the social media already. I leave them to God. My son was beat*n and bull*ed up to the point of de*th, now the father still doesn't want him to rest.

You Never Rejected Me, Davido's Late Aide's Son Hails Singer On Birthday

Abdul Uthman, son of Davido's late aide, Obama DMW, on Tuesday appreciated the singer for taking care of him after his dad's passing.

Uthman made this known in a birthday note penned for the Afrobeats star, who clocked a new age on Tuesday.

On his Instagram page, Uthman wrote, "Dad, I'm writing this from the bottom of my heart. Keeping a promise is one of the hardest things in life!

"You promised to help me since I lost my father. You never rejected me. You loved me just the way a father should love his child.

"Every video of us, you always saying 'my son'. Dad, my father would be so grateful for all you do for me! I love you so much.

"There was a day I was so broken, but when we spoke, he didn't just solve my issue. He spoke to me, 'My son hope you really good'. These words are so genuine and lovely."

Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, died on June 29, 2021.

In an interview with media personality Taymesan published on YouTube Saturday, Mayorkun, the son of Nollywood veteran Toyin Adewale, stated that he hid her identity to curb the fake love her fame attracted.

The 'Mama' crooner said, "Growing up, my brother and I did not like that our mom was a famous actress. We wanted freedom, but with her fame came fake attention and all.

"I hated going somewhere and being treated differently, not because you like me but because I am Toyin Adewale's son.

"Even in my university, people did not know she was my mother for four years. I was intentional about this.

"My mom brought food to me at school once, and a girl saw her. I quickly ran to where she was to get the items she came with just so no one else saw her."
