Poetry Chapbook by Yuu Ikeda.

Launching our poetry chapbook series is the poetry collection of the Japanese poet, Yuu Ikeda. This collection entitled I Am Midnight That Only Loves You reinforces Ikeda's poetic vision through “Night” and it's multifaceted forms. The romanticist grasp of her work, and the precision of each poems consummate a sublime read.

Her ability to toss her readers into a state of awe and wonder (on reference) shows her deft attention to the element of surprise as on goes through each poem. Some times, you might have to wonder if the poet persona is a sky gazer, other times, we just espy a persona who knows love in it's different forms and just wants everyone to be drawn—no better way than the romantic approach it.

Yuu, is a genius!
