On that Wednesday morning, you came into my room, dressed up for school.
You told me your school will be having inter house sports on Friday and I promised you I’ll be there.
You were so excited.
You told me you won a gold medal in swimming.
I congratulated you.
We joked about your height, then you left for school in your ever cheerful manner.
And you never came back home again.
I can't question God.
My dear son, just 16 years with us here on earth, but you made your mark.

I Am A Virgin At 33 - Destiny Etiko
Popular Nigerian actress and brand influencer, Destiny Etiko has revealed that she is still a virgin at the age of 33.

During a recent interview on OakTV, the actress was asked to share a little detail about her body counts. Her response, however, came as a shock following the claims of being a virgin.

The award-winning actress blamed being a virgin at 30+ on her crippling social anxiety and not having a strong relationship.

“I am still a virgin because of my crippling social anxiety…. I still have not had a relationship that has gone to that level,” she stated.

In other parts of the interview, Etiko conveyed a message to her colleagues about avoiding a fake way of life, warning that it may push away individuals who could assist them in fulfilling their destinies.

Nigerian artist, designer and architect Demas Nwoko will be awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Buildings by Nwoko are being described "forerunners of the sustainable, resource-mindful, and culturally authentic forms of expression now sweeping across the African continent and the globe." The Architecture Biennale is considered the most important presentation on the art of building worldwide. Nwoko was one of the first Nigerian architects to criticize Nigeria's dependence on the West for imported materials, goods and ideas, and he advocated the use of local resources. PHOTOS: Mother-of-two killed at Asake’s London concert buried

Mother-of-two, Rebecca Ikumelo, who was killed at the 02 Academy Brixton during a concert by Nigerian singer, Asake, has been laid to rest.

The 33-year-old died from her injuries after a large number of people tried to enter the concert on December 15, 2022.

During the burial that was held on Friday, the deceased’s family lamented that her body was held by the coroner for over three months before it was released.

A police investigation into the incident is due to conclude next month.

What does she do? She responds thus: “Let it be to me according to your word” (Lk 1:38). “Let it be ” (“Fiat ”). But in the language in which the Gospel is written, it is not simply “let it be”. The verbal expression indicates a strong desire; it indicates the will that something happen. In other words, Mary does not say: “If it has to happen, let it happen..., if it cannot be otherwise…”. Peter Obi will do well as Minister of Economy, he doesn’t have the structure and Igbos are not ready for presidency - Ned Nwoko

Delta-born politician, Ned Nwoko has shared his thoughts about former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi's participation in the forthcoming governorship election under Labour Party's platform.

The politician who is married to actress Regina Daniels, acknowledged that Peter Obi is not like other Governors he has met in the past as he's quite frugal and a big-time capitalist.

Nwoko also stated in the interview with BBC Igbo, that he would like Peter Obi to come back to the Peoples Democratic Party as he will do well as a Minister of Economy and will also help the economy bounce back.

The Delta-born politician further averred that though Peter Obi is popular and might have a support base, he doesn't have the structure to function as he would need the majority in either house of reps or senate, state house of assemblies and government.

He also said that all of these might take at least 8 years to be achieved. Nwoko further claimed there are many things that would work against the emergence of Peter Obi as President of Nigeria and "it would never happen".

Nwoko also said that Igbos are not ready for presidency as that would have shown during the primaries. He also wondered why delegates never supported Igbo candidates, but went for candidates from other regions.

According to him, Igbos are largely selfish and won't think about others. Nwoko added that he doesn't subscribe to zoning, but believes in merit.

Hauwa Dauda and Mary Joseph were rescued by the military troops of Operation Hadin Kai after their escape from Boko Haram camp.

Both ladies; now in their late 20s, now have sons.
