THE EMPTINESS OF SULE ABDULLAHI AUDU KYUNI OF GUDI STATION AND HIS RELIGIOUS CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE NIGERIAN JUDICIARY!

Since the Merit based Judgement of the Governorship Elections Petitions Tribunal that shook the foundations of Nasarawa state with the declaration of Dr. David Ombugadu as the rightful winner of the 2023 Governoship elections in Nasarawa state, the outgoing governor, Sule Abdullahi Audu Kyuni has been running wild like a rabid dog and obviously clutching on straws like a monkey hanging on a broken banana branch.

For those conversant with the procurement arrangements that helped Audu Sule acquire the governoship seat in 2019, it is not surprising that he is desperately playing the religious wild card which is his last hope, being the vehicle of deception that brought him from nowhere to the Government House in the first place.

In reality, it is ridiculous to watch a man who in ideal circumstances would not even win a councilorship election in Gudi. Not because his migrant kanuri-Mada family are settlers in Gudi, but because he is such an unpopular and rootless fellow with zero charisma to win the hearts of even his immediate constituency.

This is very evidenced by his elaborate defeat in his Akwanga LGA at the gubernatorial poll by the PDP candidate.

So for a man without roots and constituency in Nasarawa State, it is therefore not surprising that he is working hard to turn his defeat into a matter of religious contest by the very irresponsible and idiotic pronouncements he made at an event last weekend organised by the Islamic Community at the Abuja University!

The footage of Sule Audu whipping sentiments like a child, stating that the Tribunal Judgement was an act of Christian solidarity by the respected Judges, and thereby seeking solidarity of Muslim community to come and fight for his stolen mandate in the appellate Court, has thankfully gone viral.

PDP alleges plot by government officials to disrupt tribunal sitting in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that some top government functionaries were planning to disrupt the Thursday, Sept. 14 sitting of the Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal in Lafia.

Mr. Francis Orogu, Nasarawa State PDP Chairman made the allegation at a press briefing on Wednesday in Lafia.

Mr David Ombugadu, governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is challenging the declaration of Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the 2023 governorship polls.

Orogu said that the officials in a meeting in the farm of one of them around Akwanga Local Government Area of the state recently planned to disrupt the sitting of Thursday, 14.

He said that the party had already informed the security agencies about the plan and expect that the security would be beef up at the tribunal to ensure that the sitting holds.

The PDP Chairman pledged that the party would continue to be peaceful throughout the period of the sitting of the tribunal.

Reacting to the allegation, Mr Peter Ahemba, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Public Affairs, described the allegation as false.

The SSA that, peace and respect for rule of law has remained key to the governor Sule-led government and that no official of the state government would ever plot anything of sort.

He therefore urged members of the public to disregard the allegation in its entirety.

*GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL SITTING IN LAFIA NASARAWA STATE: 2ND RESPONDENT ACCUSED INEC OF IRREGULARITIES AS IT TENDERED DOCUMENTS IN EVIDENCE*

The sitting of Saturday 19/08/2023 was for the 2nd Respondent, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the March 18th, 2023 Governorship Election in Nasarawa State through his counsel to open defense to the Petitioners (Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu & Peoples Democratic Party -PDP) petition which is challenging the wrongful declaration of the 2nd Respondent by the 3rd Respondent (INEC).

Adebayo Adeloru, Lead Counsel to the 2nd Respondent led Prof. O. Y Abdulkarim, A.S Mohammed, Musa Hussaini and A. O Adebo of the Inner Bar and others in appearance for their client. He started the business of the day with tendering from the Bar four (4) sets of documents to include;

1) 31 CTC of Form EC8A's of the Polling Units where the 2nd Respondent is complaining of exclusion of it votes. (Names of the said PU and codes are details in list of items on the schedule of the day).
2) 23 CTC of Form EC8B's of 7 Local Government Areas where the 2nd Respondent is complaining of reduction of it votes. (Names of the Wards and LGA's are contained in page 5 of the schedule of documents of the day).
3) 29 CTC of Form EC8A's of the Polling Units where the 2nd Respondent is objecting to votes recorded for the Petitioners. (Details are on page 5-7 of the schedule of documents of the day).
4) 3 Receipts of payments to the 1st Respondent (INEC) in respect of the CTC documents).

*Objections* The Petitioners counsel led by J.S Okutepa (SAN) objected to the admisibilties of the documents and reserved arguments to the final address stage.

David Emmanuel Ombugadu (PhD) the chosen choice of the good people of Nasarawa State on his landslide VICTORY under the platform of the party that belongs to the people, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at a keely contested Governorship Election in Nasarawa State, Nigeria on the March 18th, 2023.

They bursted of absolute power and enphemia human influence from above and said, "don't can the winner, results of Gayam and Ciroma Electoral Ward Lafia LGA are yet to be computed. So, leave everything to us, we can still do something". Hence, they arrogantly expanded the votes to unimaginable figures three times in variance with the data of BVAS Machines accreditation via the use of compromised INEC Collation Officers of Gayam, Ciroma, Azara and Kanje/Abuni Electoral Wards in Lafia and Awe LGA's of the state while in a dramatic manner claimed cancellation of votes emanated from Ashige Electoral Ward Lafia LGA after a successful transmission of Form EC8A's in a real time situations into the INEC IRev Portal.

Alas! Thinking that it's gonna be business as usual, so they ignorantly told the authentic winner, "if you aren't satisfy, go to court". Indeed, absolute power corrupt absolutely and no doubt, time is the greatest healer.

Now, the heat of the divine power and the intense web of the constitutional provisions, 2022 Electoral Act and Electoral Regulations/Guidelines enshrined in the Manual available for the Tribunal to explore is obviously beyond they anticipated ego, pride.power, government influence and incumbency machineries.

GEPT: Distortions Of Proceedings Won't Secure A Stolen Mandate -Ombugadu

Ordinarily we should be too busy to be diverted to primordial issues like the falsehood especially, the fabrications of cross examination by the desperate mandate thieves, the outgoing All Progressives Congress led administration in Nasarawa state is dishing out to unsuspecting public.

For the sake of clarity and the negative effects of this fake news on our supporters across the state, it is incumbent of the Dr. David Ombugadu's campaign team to respond proportionately setting the narrative straight by reproducing the exacts of what took place at the Tribunal while our star witness, Barrister Ayiwulu Baba Ayiwulu was cross examined by the respondent lawyers.

The narration on the PDP/Dr David Ombugadu star witness at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal (GEPT) currently going on in Lafia, was unambiguously clear to the point for anyone to comprehend except these mischief makers of the APC. There was no where the State PDP Returning Agent (not “Collation Agent”) could have denied the PDP's petition before the Tribunal to the effect of even stating that “the figures allocated to favour the PDP were due to human errors in all the alleged polling units and wards”.

As a lawyer of over a decade of practical experience especially on political cases at the tribunals, it's laughable that Barrister Ayiwulu Baba Ayiwulu could be attributed with this fake naration by the APC e-rats and half baked junkies. If the idea was to play on the intelligence of either the protesting widows who are insisting on getting justice on their stolen mandate or the unsuspecting Nasarawa voters, the aim is defeated on arrival.

Putting falsehood into a lawyer's mouth could attract grave legal consequences but this is for another day. There is no way Barrister Ayiwulu Baba Ayiwulu could have said: “I do not believe that our documents should be accepted because of the errors, but the co

*INEC TENDERED DOCUMENTS IN EVIDENCE AT THE TRIBUNAL, INJURED APC & A.A SULE*.

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) took turn on Friday 18/08/2023 in defense at the ongoing Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Holden in Lafia Nasarawa State after the Petitioners Counsel closed case on Thursday 17/08/2023. In the process, the 2nd Respondent in the matter obviously declined calling of any witnesses on oath or subpoenaed and suddenly closed defence claimed that it's expensive to sponsor witnesses to the Tribunal.

INEC which was the empire that conducted the March 18th , 2023 Governorship and State House of Assembly Elections through it Lead Counsel Isiaka Dikko (SAN) by failing to tendered from the Bar before the honorable Tribunal Form EC8A'S Series among documents in evidence to support it defense dated Friday 18/08/2023 to include;

1) Certified True Copies (CTC) of poported Form EC40G for 36 Polling Units in Ashige Electoral Ward Lafia LGA .
2) Certified True Copy of the poported Form EC40G of a Polling Unit in Gayam Electoral Ward Lafia LGA.
3) Poported manual of Form EC8B for Kanje/Abuni Electoral Ward, Awe LGA.
4) Poported manual Form EC8B for Gayam Electoral Ward Lafia LGA.
5) Poported manual Form EC8B for Ciroma Electoral Ward Lafia LGA.
6) 13 Manual Form EC8C's Series for the 13 LGA'S of Nasarawa State.
7) Poported manual Form EC8D (Summary of all LGA'S Collation Results at the State Collation Center).
8) Poported manual Form EC8E ( Declaration of Governorship Nasarawa State)
9) INEC Receipt of payments in respect of the above named documents.

In response, the Petitioners Lead Counsel of the day, J.J Usman (SAN) objected in totality the admisibility of the above tendered Documents by the 1st Respondent because, they are NOTHING but worthless pieces of papers and we reserved our further arguments to the Final Address Stage.

Finally, 1st Respondent Counsel remarked that, having participated in the cross-examination of the Petitioners witness

*MORE WORKLOAD FOR THE RESPONDENTS AS OMBUGADU/PDP TENDERED CTC DOCUMENTS FROM INEC STAFF ON SUBPOENA*

In the sitting of the day, J.S Okutepa (SAN) in company of J.M Numa (SAN) with others made appearance in court for the Petitioners (Ombugadu/PDP). J.S Okutepa (SAN) told the Lordships that the matter is for continuation of hearing and as court pleases a subpoena letter was served to the INEC Director of ICT, Nasarawa State to produce and tendered some documents as a witness PW20 unsworn.

Deputy Director ICT (name withheld) backed by an authority letter appeared and stood in for his boss and produced/tendered documents number 1,7,8,9 & 10 as listed in the Subpoena Letter. Meanwhile, for the benefit of doubts, he first presented original copy of subpoena letter, original workplace ID Card, Authority Letter and Receipt of payments in respect of the documents so produced. All were marked as exhibits accordingly.

1) Certificate of compliance and Certified True Copies of Form EC8A's from INEC IRev Portal.
2) Certified True Copy of Form EC8A's series of Akurba Electoral Ward, Lafia LGA and were marked as Exhibits PS1-67 respectively in correspondent with the list of documents in the schedule of the day.

Having done with the subpoena witness, J.S. Okutepa (SAN) applied and tendered in evidence the following documents from the Bar;
a) Items listed in number 67-92 of the schedule of documents filed for the day..
b) Item number 68 (Regulations & Guidelines Manual for 2023 General Elections) in the schedule of documents filed before the honorable Tribunal.
c) Items number 69-81 (Form EC8C's Series) for the thirteen (13) LGA's of Nasarawa State as appeared in the schedule of documents of the day.
d) Seven (7) copies of Form EC8B's Series and Receipt of payments as listed in number 82-88 of the schedule of documents for the day.
e) Form EC8A's Series listed as number 89-92 in the schedule of documents filed for the day.
