Photo News: Court has sent Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the House majority to correctional facility over allegations of killing some people during the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections in Tudun wada/Doguwa LGA. Ado will be there untill 7th March 2023.
Photo News:- Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the House majority leader taken to court over his alleged killing of some people reported to be members of the New Nigeria Peoples Party and burning of the local government Secretariat of the Party at Doguwa LGA during the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections. Alhassan is reported to have worn his re-election to the house of assembly despite the violence that erupted which he is alleged to have caused. It was earlier reported that Mr Doguwa was arrested at Mallam Aminu Kano Airport on 28th February, 2023 on his way to lesser Hajj. Stay tuned.

Niger must refund N1.4bn to Nigeria, SERAP issues warning to Buhari.
Ask Niger Republic to immediately refund N1.4 billion and use it to offset ASUU funding - SERAP tells Buhari administration
SERAP, has urged the Nigerian Government to demand an immediate refund of the N1.4billion it donaed to Niger Republic for the purchase of vehicles to fight insurgency and use the money to settle ASUU problems.
The Nigerian government had on Wednesday, 3rd August, revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the release of N1.4 billion for the purchase of vehicles, to be donated to Niger Republic.
Zainab Shamsuna who is the Nigerian Minister of finance explained that the donation was meant to help Niger Republic tackle its security issues. Her explanation came against the backdrop of the outrage sparked by the donation.
Responding, civil society group, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) tweeted: "The Buhari administration must immediately ask Niger Republic authorities to refund the N1.4 billion approved for them to buy vehicles, and use the money to offset the funding for ASUU, so that poor children can go back to school."
SERAP has questioned the donation of N1.4 billion to Republic of Niger for the purchase of vehicles to fight insurgency while here in Nigeria insurgents are planning to take over the government. This is coming after the insurgents have threatened to abduct President Muhammad Buhari. The insurgents made the threat last two weeks that they will abduct President Buhari and El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna state. The insurgents have demonstrated that by killing three of the elites presidential guard and injuring many.
