Mallam Razphil is a Nigerian artist from Borno State, who currently resides in Jos Plateau State. He is married to Atari Thomas and blessed with two lovely sons.

He is a sensational award winning and widely travelled Nigerian Gospel/inspirational musician. He is highly influenced by his northern heritage which is communicated in his unique and original style of dressing which represents Arewa (Northern Nigeria) royalty, and can also be heard in his unique tones, sound, and style of music.

Mallam Razphil is a prolific songwriter, who writes all his songs and is responsible for most of the music composition used for the songs. He is extremely creative and is a great story teller. This is depicted in his music where he tells relatable, humorous and yet inspirational and encouraging stories using his song lyrics.
Although a large part of his music is in Hausa, he has mastered the art of infusing English into his songs in a way that enables every English speaker to understand the message.

Mallam Razphil is also the brain behind the biggest concert in Northern Nigeria “One More Soul” concert which was held in the City of Jos at the 10 Commandments prayer Altar, with its 7000-seating capacity, being full with people standing at the concert. It first and second edition has been anevening to behold, with performances from musical greats such as Panam Percy Paul, Solomon Lange, Chris Morgan ,Kaestrings, GWills Minister KI to name a few. The likes of this music festival has never been seen in Northern Nigeria.

He is the writer and singer of the popular “Na Dodge”, “Gyara Masa Parking” and the Hausa rendition of the Nigerian national anthem, amongst many other hit songs. Mallam Razphil is one of Northern Nigerias greatest exports.
