The largest horn circumference on a steer ever was achieved by Lurch, an African Watusi steer owned by Janice Wolf from Gassville, Arkansas, USA measuring 95.25 cm (37.5 in) ) on 6 May 2003. 🐃

Two vets measured three times to confirm the incredible circumference.

Although they are not the longest horns on record, Lurch's horn span is an impressive 2.1 m (7 ft).

Sadly, Lurch died at 3 p.m. on 22 May 2010 of a cancer at the base of one of the horns.

While some Nigerians only know how to denigrate the country, these people applied to be citizens of this country and will be proud to hold our national passport because they found hope, joy and fulfilment here.

President Buhari at the conferment ceremony was apt when he said Nigeria will reward their love and loyalty.

Jeff Bezos Knocks Nigerian-born US Professor Over Queen Elizabeth's Tweet

Billionaire, Jeff Bezos, has slammed a Nigerian-born US professor, Uju Anya, for her tweet on the late Queen Elizabeth II.

While the queen was under medical supervision at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, Anya, had expressed her wish for the queen to have an ‘excruciating’ death.

The tweet has now been removed by Twitter but still generating reactions on the platform.

The Amazon founder quoted Anya’s tweet and said, “This is someone supposedly working to make the world better?”

Anya, a Carnegie Mellon professor defended her tweet and responded to Bezos, "May everyone you and your merciless greed have harmed in this world remember you as fondly as I remember my colonizers."

The Otuho people, also known as the Lotuko or Latuka, Are a small ethnic group living in mountains and settlements. The people of Latuka, or Otuho as they’re commonly referred to, are predominantly farmers keeping large herds of cattle, sheep and goat. The language they speak is the Otuho language.

In Latuka , when a young man wants to marry a girl, he kidnaps her from her home. Then he goes to visit the girl’s father along with his elder male relatives to ask for the blessing to marry.

The father then has to respond with a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’. If he says yes and blesses their marriage, he is expected to b.eat his prospective son-in-law to show consent. However, if he says ‘no’, the young man is at liberty to return the girl to her father’s house.
