UNIOSUN student allegedly commits su***de hours after posting cryptic su***de message on Whatsapp.

A 100-level Theatre Arts student of the University of Osun (UNIOSUN), Ikire campus has allegedly committed su***de.

According to reports, the student identified as Juba Babatunde Phillips was found dead in his hostel room by a friend on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

Prior to his death, he had shared messages on his WhatsApp status, commenting on hardship and su***de.

The posts prompted his friend to rush to his hostel to check on him, only to find him already dead with a bottle allegedly containing a poisonous substance next to him.

Juba was confirmed dead by medical personnel and his body was immediately taken to a morgue.

Friends of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn him.

Woman allegedly slumps and dies hours after hearing news of her only child’s murder

Family and friends of a 52-year-old woman, Theresa Nyorong Yohanna Bwai and her only son, Bweifar Isaac, 22, are mourning their demise.

It was gathered that Isaac, who is a musician and photographer, was allegedly shot dead by suspected cultists in Jos, on Tuesday, November 17,2020.

Upon hearing news about her son’s death, Mrs.Bwai was said to have collapsed and died the following morning.
