After thoroughly exploring the string and beats industry Àróbá groove ventured into the next line of action, feature films. Though we have always worked with our friends in the area of scripting and casting, lending are expertise to Kaffy Movies on the celebrated movie ” Ògà”, Saidi Balogun productions, on the film “Jeun Soke”, Ojojulu Films, on “Igba Oyin”. In 2007 we directed Toyin Aimakuhs Halimat, being the first yoruba film that featured Nollywoods celebrated Stella Damscus. Then in the year 2008 we produced afro futuristic movie ” Egberun Maili” One Thousand Miles It was the film “One Thousand Miles” that defined our direction and mission statement as an African entertainment outfit, determined to touch nothing but Afro relevant matters. One Thousand Miles featured Bukky Ajayi, Bayo Bankole, Hafeez Oyetoro, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Remi Surutu, Alhaji Hammeed Abubakar, Funmi Febersima etc. We then again accepted offers to collaborate with other producers, and one of such collaborations has given birth to(Arugba)Bukola Awoyemi’s “Igba n banjo”. Presently we are in preproduction of our next feature film titled “Eko Wenjele” “Lagos Na wa”. Featuring Toyin Aimakuh, Sanyeri, Tina Mba, Sir Victor Olaiya and a host of others. We have also ventured lately into TV drama directing, working on “Dormitory 8″ a sitcom, and “Super Mom”, both produced by Digital Interactive Media. Share this:
