Pastor Blessed files a strong lawsuit after the court issues criminal summonses to five people for slandering Mercy Chinwo. With the help of Pelumi Olajengbesi Esq., one of his attorneys, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, the spouse of Minister Mercy Chinwo, has filed a direct criminal complaint for criminal defamation against five people. Mercy Chinwo's spouse claimed that intentional dissemination of harmful false information, cyberstalking, and cyberbullying were used in the alleged criminal defamation acts. On April 23, 2024, the court will hear from the five defendants: DJ Spoiltkid, Terrence Ekot, Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, and Samuel Agozie.

In recognition of Stephanie Linus's noteworthy contribution to social activism, Thomas Jefferson University has awarded her the Lennox K. Black International Prize for Excellence in Medicine. After Bobrisky, a cross-dresser, was detained for abusing Naira, the EFCC released his mugshot. The Federal Inland Revenue Service has been asked to publicly apologise by the Christian Association of Nigeria for a notice that was distributed during the Easter celebration. "Jesus paid your debts, not your taxes" was the caption on a picture of a point-of-sale machine shared by FIRS during the Easter celebration. The image, which has since been removed, angered Christians. In response, President Bola Tinubu, the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, and the Department of State Services have been urged by CAN's National Director of National Issues and Social Welfare, Abimbola Ayuba, to acknowledge the incident and direct the FIRS to stick to messages that only advance peace and unity.
